Areum's POV

"Mom, we will be heading to Korea. As you said, two days had already passed."

I held my bag in my right arm and my luggage in the other while I tried to hold the phone with my shoulders. Yep two days had passed and we are now getting off the cab that took us here.

"Alright honey, I will be following you back in three days. I just need to.... uhh.... fix somethings."

"Hmmm by the way, how's dad? He haven't been calling me this passed months"

I walked towards the waiting area as I sat down and waitwd for Jiyoon. With no more 100 meters away I saw her carrying her bags and wearing a smile.

I looked at my phone as I noticed that my mom haven't been speaking since earlier.

"Hello? Mom?"

"Ahh, Areum....I... uhh... you were talking about your dad right? Yup he's fine, and I'm really sure that he misses you so don't be upset alright. We will talk again when I arrive at Monday."

"Alright mom, be safe with dad alright! I love you!"

I hung up and helped Jiyoon with her belongings.

"Aishh another exhausting trip."

I said as I carried her bags.

"Another 9 hours of jetlag and exhaustion. What do we expect."

She said in return and sat down beside me.

"Jiyoon-ssi, until now I'm still so curious why things have been this way. They are so confusing."

"I... uhh... maybe your mom has her own reasons."

"Hmmm you're right."

I said while noding. Minutes later we got inside the plane and seated side by side. I checked on my phone and before we took of I searched the recent news in Korea. We haven't heard of anything about what's happening in Korea for almost weeks. After some times, the page loaded.

HEADLINE: Three unidentified man have been on a killing spree on different places of Korea, in specific they have been roaming around, Daegu, Seoul and Incheon.

HEADLINE: 30 people found dead in places between Daegu and Seoul, police officers have been roaming around the citiea for possible suspects.

HEADLINE: Three days later the government assigned some authorities to search around the areas but unfortunately until now, there are no clues on who are the killers.

HEADLINE:Invisible killers? Who are they and who are they after?

"Paseengers of Spain International we will be taking off. Please put all your devices at airplane mode to avoid damages on signals. Thank you"

I shook my head as I saved the pages offline and turned it into airplane mode. After we took off I tapped Jiyoon's shoulder as I showed her the news.

"Jiyoon-ah things have been worse."

She took my phone and read all the contents. Then her eyebrows slowly clenched and removed all the pages. She also went in my inbox and read all of in there.

"You were texted by one of your stalkers?! Areum! Why didn't you tell me?"

"I can't just pull you on anything that is connected to those killers. Jiyoon I don't want you to.."

"Areum-ah, we have been best friends since kinder. I treated you as my younger sister so there's no reason why you need to feel burdened alright?"

I noded as she powered my phone off and smiled at me.
