I think that I'm gonna dedicate this to ShatteredScreams because right now, we're both having best friend problems, and were the same age, which I'm happy about. And also that both of our crushes may never that we like them<3 So sad!

Surprisingly, The day went by pretty fast. Jake being himself, and goofing off, that kind of stuff. After dropping my things off in my room, I went to the little smoothie shack. I walked in and got stares. Seriously? I was getting tired of all these stares. I walked up to the counter, and ordered a banana/strawberry smoothie. That is like the best smoothie in the entire world. I looked around the place to look for somewhere to sit. The place wasn’t packed, but had some students here. I spotted a girl sitting alone in the corner booth. I walked over, and sat down.
She had slightly curly deep brown hair, and a slightly tanned skin. She had those horrible thick rimmed classes. It’ll take a stupid person to see that they were fake… But from what I know, that’s all the type of people here. She looked shocked that I was even sitting with her.
“Why are you sitting with me?” She asked, fully confused.
“Well… I’m new and I don’t really know anyone here, besides my brother, and my best friend.” I said, looking down
“Oh…” was all she said before focusing back on the book in front of her.
I leaned in close, so no else around could hear me, “So… Just how fake are those glasses of yours?” She gasped for a breath of air. Yup, I was correct. They were fake.
“W-what do y-you m-mean? They aren’t fake.” She stuttered. That, there, just calcified it.
“You denying it is just proving that I’m right. Besides, what’s your name?” I asked taking a gulp of my smoothie.
“Oh… Well, my name is Chloe Summers. And you?” so called Chloe asked.
“Ahhh… My name is Ava James. If you know Tyler James, then that’s my brother.” I said. I loved my name. It fitted my perfectly. People could easily remember it easily, most of the time, whenever people think of trouble, they think of me.
I swear that I saw her face fall. “Oh… So your one of them. People like them don’t even give me a glance. But now they’re new member is here talking to me. When they out about this, they’re just going to kick your butt to the curb.”
I was seriously confused. What could she possibly mean by ‘I’m one of them’? She has this whole thing misunderstood.
“What do you mean by ‘one of them’? I just arrived here yesterday. Okay maybe not yesterday, but the day before that. Yes, Tyler is my brother, but that doesn’t mean that I’m in a group. Maybe I’m like you. I’m trying to find a place in this place. Maybe… If we become friends, we can both find a place together. Also, I’m one heck of a plotter when it comes to revenge.” I said, with not a single lie in my voice, or in my eyes or my face.
Chloe was silent for a few minutes, obviously thinking about the choice. “Fine. Okay, Ava. Deal. You help me. And I help you.” She obviously happy about having a friend, but I didn’t really have room to talk, ‘cos so was I.
We decided that we would meet in the lobby tomorrow morning to head to classes together. Surprisingly, we’ve got almost all of our classes together, well except for P.E. I paid for my smoothie, and I walked towards the girls’ dorm.
‘Today wasn’t the bad, honestly.” I thought to myself. I we take a shower tomorrow morning, but now I need some sleep.
Good night!
