Stiles' POV:
I see Lydia at lunch and head over to where she is sitting. I sit down next to her and we are just sitting there eating, giving each other awkward glances from time to time. Finally after what felt a year but was probably only 5 minutes, she says something.
L: Do you wanna go somewhere and talk?
S: Sure.
We head to the library to talk because it's the most quiet. Duh. As soon as we got there, Lydia pulled me close and kissed me. Not a full on make-out. A long, passionate kiss, but not like before. She pulled away.
S: What was that for?
L: Just checking that it was there.
S: What was where?
L: The feelings, you idiot. I just wanted to make sure.
S: So, what do you wanna do?
L: I don't really know.
S: Do you wanna date?
She didn't answer.
S: Not saying we have to or anything just, like, I like you and I think you like me. Not really sure. Thought I would just throw that out there. You know? Um... but we don't have to. I mean if you don't want to, that's fine. But not that I don't want to. It's just that--
L: Woah. Calm down. I was just thinking. I mean, you and Malia just broke up, and I don't wanna hurt her.
S: She broke up with me.
L: Yeah, but she's probably not ready to start dating yet, and she might get hurt if you are.
S: I kinda get it. Wait, please don't tell me that was your version of letting me down easy, because if it was then--
L: No!
S: Wait, you do or you don't wanna date me?
L: I do. But maybe for now we can keep it a secret.
S: A secret? Like, not tell anyone?
L: If that's okay?
S: That sounds great.
L: Really?
S: Come here...
I pulled her in for a kiss and we were making out 'till the bell rang.
S: Um... I'll see you later?
L: Well, you're driving me home so...
S: Right.
Ahhh. Finally. I. Have. Lydia.
I have to tell Scott! Wait, I can't tell Scott. So, what do I do? ________________________________________________________________________________
