"I asked you first!" he shouted back. Bigla namang bumukas ang pinto. I gasped hard when I realized I wasn't in my room nor Chaos' room but in our master's bedroom.
Biglang dumating ang both parents namin, malapad na nakangiti sa amin, tila kinikilig pa ang mga ito sa ginawa nila sa amin. "I think you're not really going smooth eh?" nakakunot na sabi ni daddy, still humor in his face.
"Dad, you're involved too?" napasalampak nalang ako sa noo ko. Pati ba naman si daddy? For godness sake!
I shook my head in dismay. "Sorry Chaos," I looked at him, his face is still mad. Tinignan ko naman sina mommy, daddy, tito Crave and tita Melinda, napailing nalamang ako.
"I can't believe you planned this!" I stood up and went out. Disappointed of what our parents did, they think this is a game and it's not funny anymore.
Pero hinila ako ni daddy. Gusto ko pa sanang magsalita but he pulled me down to the gazebo. Pinaupo nya ako sa table set namin, narealized ko din na nakasunod din pala sila kasama si Chaos with an irritated face.
"Now, i-e-explain ko why you should be married," panimula ni tito Crave. Magkatabi kami ngayon ni Chaos with our parents in front of us.
Bigla namang hinawakan ni tita Melinda ang kamay namin ni Chaos. "Anak, a promise should always be a promise," panimula nito. I know how this will be going.
I bit my lower lip as Chaos grabbed his hand and shouted to his mother. "Promise? Ma! ano na naman bang katatawanan to?! Una sabi mo arranged marriage tapos ngayon promise?! Putanginaa!" he frustratingly brushed his hair with his hand.
It was my first time to see him that furious. I mean second, noon din palang sinabi sa kanya three days ago. A tear escaped from my eye, natatakot na ako.
"Yes, promise. Nangako kami ng tita Luna mo. Si dad mo and tito Raul that you two have to be married. Simula bata pa kayong dalawa nangako kaming apat na ikakasal namin ang first born baby namin. He seated in front of me. Galit ang mukha at malalim ang mata. "Alam mo na ba 'to?" tiim bagang nyang tanong.
Pinahid ko ang luha ko, nakakatakot makita ang Chaos na ganito.
"Why the fuck are you crying, Hannah? Don't just cry! Answer me!" he exclaimed under his breath, just enough for me to hear and enough to scare me.
Bigla naman akong napaayos ng upo dahil sa buo ng boses niya. "O-Oo.." I sniffed.
"Ginusto mo din diba?" he clenched his jaw.
I nodded. Sa totoo lang, mahal ko na si Chaos, I readied myself for him. Simula nagkamulat at nagkaisip ako alam ko na ikakasal ako kay Chaos.
"You're unbelievable." He shook his head in dismay. "Alam mo din na sa makalawa tayo ikakasal diba?"
I bit my lower lip and nodded.
"I can't believe you!" napatayo siya."Bakit hindi ka umayaw?! Kilala mo ako Hannah! You know that I play girls around my hand. I really do wanna hurt you just so you know but..."
Napayuko ako, my gaze landed on his fist, nanginginig ang kamay niya at namumula na ito for it was tightly closed.
He cleared his throat at napatingin sa likod ko, napatalikod na din ako then I saw our parents with Chanty, at pati na rin ang kuya ni Chaos na si kuya Charm. They looked happy. Maybe they heard nothing.
"Stand up," mariin nitong sabi but he didn't open his mouth, I bit my lower lip as I stood up.
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko when he went near me. He kissed my cheek and hugged me then he whispered.
"Good luck for marrying me, FUTURE WIFE."
