Lumabas muna ako ng bahay and walk around the village -- trying to unwind everything. I'm having a doubt if I'm pregnant or what. May sakit kasi ako noon dahil sa pagkakasaktan sa akin ni Drake noon -- it was said that I can't bear a child anymore but what now? I'm pregnant?
I found myself looking at the kids happily playing in the park -- sliding, climbing and catching each other. I like kids since then. Napangiti na lamang ako nang makita ang mga ngiti mula sa kanilang mga labi and I out of the blue caressed my tummy. I sighed deeply.
"Hannah?"
Napalingon ako sa boses na nagmula sa likod ko and as if on cue my smile faded "Dr..Drake.." I smiled at him. "Ano ginagawa mo dito?" he asked me. Napakunot naman ang noo ko "Diba I should be the one asking you that question?" taas kilay ko siang tinanong.
He laughed "Haha, yeah yeah! I went to my friend dian lang sa kabilang street.." utag nito. Napatango tango na lamang ako "Sinong friend?" I asked him suspiciously. "Nah, hindi mo kilala." napatawa ito "Hindi ka nga nia kilala eh!" tipid akong ngumiti
"Ah, s-sige Drake.. I need to go medyo palubog na din ang araw eh," pagpapaalam ko. I tiptoed to reach for his cheeks and kissed him goodbye. Tumango na lamang din ito "Sige, bye."
Nagsimula na akong humakbang nang tawagin ako nito "Uhmm, H-Hannah, before I forgot.. I'm inviting you for a dinner at my pent house tomorrow. Bago kasi eh, you can bring with you your husband also.." saglit akong napatahimik. Maybe it's time for us to be friends. "Chaos is not home, can my best friend will do?" I asked him biting my lip.
Ngumiti itong malapad "Sure do. Bye!" he quickly raised his hand and waved and then went to his car. Napangiti na lamang ako -- he really changed.

"Hoy te! Saan ka galing aba'y magbihis ka na at magpapacheck-up tayo sa ob-gyne!" as I entered our house nakadekwatrong Casey ang naabutan ko. Oo, nakadekwatro! Ewan ko ba kung bakit natiis yan ni Charm tss.
"Oo na po!" umakyat na ako nang kwarto atsaka naligo at nagbihis. I decided to wear a simple tee top and a mini skater skirt. Kung tutuusin -- this is how I wear during my teenage days. I just want to be presentable.
"Hala! Kambal tayo! Nakaskater skirt ka rin hahahaha" patawang sabi ni Casey nang makita akong pababa. Minsan talaga tong babaeng 'to mukhang tanga lang din minsan eh!
"Ha-Ha-Ha oo nga!" I faked a laugh. I saw Casey made a face "Tara na at maggagabi na!" hinila ko na sia palabas ng bahay atsaka nagtungo na sa garage. We used her car -- her pink SUV.
"Nga pala Case.." I called her in the midst of silence inside the car as we were going to the Ob-gynecologist
Tumingin ito sa akin atsaka binalik ulit sa daan "Drake.. Remember him?" nakita ko ang pagkunot ng noo nia. He knew what happened to me and Drake before and she was so mad at him to the nth level! Alam na din nia ang pagbalik ni Drake.
"Oh?! Ano na naman ang meron sa kania? Namatay na ba? Ano? Nasagasaan na? Sana naman patay na!" napaismid na lamang ako sa sinabi nia, sometimes mean din tong si Casey eh! "Hahaha, hindi! He's inviting us for a dinner on his pent house binyag!"
"What?!" bigla nitong napahinto ang kotse "Sure ka dian te? Hahaha sige sasamahan kita basta sasabihin mo yan kay Chaos! Ha?!" napatango na lamang ako. I know she's always with me. And I'm glad that I have a friend like Casey -- minsan nga lng childish, mean at kung ano-ano pa and I know that imperfections of her makes Charm fall for her even more.
Muli nitong pinaandar ang kotse and minutes later -- we reached at the hospital. Nagtungo na kami na appointed Ob-gynecologist namin. "Good evening, do you have any appointments to Doctora Cabili?" a lady asked us -- maybe she's around 30's or 40's. I smiled and nodded "Yes, Baez. Mrs. Baez" I told her.
She smiled at me "Come in Mrs. Baez, she's expecting you." ngumiti lang din si Casey sa kania at nagthank you atsaka pumasok na kami. "Good evening doc." i smiled as soon as I see my Ob-gynecologist
"Yes, Good evening Mrs. Baez, please take a seat." ngumiti kami ni Casey sa kania atsaka umupo sa upuan kaharap ng desk nito. We talked about the matters I have before and she said maybe my baby are one of what they called Miracle baby. I smiled even more. Miracle baby. "Okay, let's proceed to my office now para matignan na natin." tumango lang kami ni Casey atsaka nagtungo na sa office nia.
"Did you already peed on a pregnancy test?" I bit my lip and smiled awkwardly at the doctor and shook my head "Hihi, hindi pa po doc eh. Kagabi lang po kasi namin na laman.. No, sorry I mean -- nagsuka nang laway." Napatawa namn ito "You look ashamed of that Mrs. Baez, I know it's your first but don't worry. Sa susunod na anak nio ng mister mo eh hindi ka na mahihiya." napatawa na lamang kami ni Casey. Nakakahiya naman talaga eh..
" Speaking of, don't get me wrong. Where's your husband?" she asked suspiciously. Napangiti na lamang ako "He's out of the country for business. Kaalis nia lang din po kahapon and I'm planning to tell him when he get back." malapad na ngiti kong sabi, tumango na lamang si doctora "Oh, here. The restroom is just there" she handed me the pregnancy test kit then pointed a door. Tumango nalamang kami ni Casey and went to the door she pointed.
As what they said -- you have to pee on the pregnancy test kit and as soon as I peed on it. We nervously looked at the result. Sobrang nanginginig na ang kamay kong hawak hawak ang kamay ni Casey at ang pregnancy test kit.
Tears escaped from my eye as the result came out -- two lines -- positive. I smiled and caressed my tummy. Napaakap na lamang kami ni Casey at nakangiting lumabas sa banyo "I guess it's positive based on your smiles." napatawa nalamang kami. The next thing we did is tye transviginal test.
"Wow! Congratulations on your babies Mrs. Baez" nakangiting sabi ni Doctora.
Nagkatinginan kami ni Casey at sabay pang napatingin kay Dra. Cabili
"BABIES?!"
Malapad ang ngiti nitong tinignan ako "Yes! Babies, you're four weeks pregnant. " nanlaki ang mata ko. Grabe! Ang tagal ko na palang buntis -- that's why I'm having that morning sickness.
Matapos ng ultrasound ay napagpasyhan naming magdinner date ni Casey. Puno ng ngiti ang aming mga mukha "Te, I'm happy for you!" napayakap ito sa akin. Napangiti na lamang ako "iiih! Pinapaiyak mo ko!" I pouted. Napatawa na din ito atsaka kumain na kami. Bigla namang tumunog ang phone ko and a smile formed into my lips again.
"Yes, Good boy ka ba dian?" narinig ko ang pagtawa nito sa kabilang linya "Opo! Ikaw? Bakit maingay dian? Where are you?" curiosity is written in his voice
"I'm with Casey, she's with me the whole time -- HI CHAOS" napatawa kaming dalawa ni Chaos "Hi Case! Oh, so you're both having a dinner? Mabuti at pinakawalan ni Charm yan!" napatawa na lamang ako. Oo nga, napilit nia talaga si Charm ngayon eh!
"Aba'y dapat lang! Hon! I have something very important to tell you when you get here kaya umuwi ka na po pleaaaaase!" kung nakikita nia lang akong nap-puppy eyes dito!
"Hahaha, alright! I'll be happy to expect that important news of yours. But before that, I just called to check you and I need to go now. Bye and behave!" napatawa na lamang ako -- ang protective masyado ah! "Haha okay bye! I love you~" I heard him chuckled "Bye" and then he off the line. Napangiti na lamang ako. I'm pregnant -- it's a twins.
