8: Where's Sophia?

"C'mon!" Daryl yelled.  You picked up your bow, which was lying on the ground right next to you. You only gasped. The doctor had opened the door. Maybe he wasn't such a dick after all.

Everyone started running through the door. You stood there. You didn't expect the doctor to ever actually open the door. "y/n!" Daryl said. You turned around to face him. "Come on!!" He shouted. You didn't move for a minute, you just continued to watch everyone else flee in pannic. "COME ON!!" Glenn yelled and everyone started chasing after them.

You turned around to see Rick talking to the doctor. You; naturally having good hearing, stepped closer, listening to them speak. "There's your chance." The doctor said. "I'm grateful." Rick replied. The doctor hesitated and took in a deep breath. "The day will come when you wont be." He said. You stepped closer.

The doctor leaned in and- No, if you were wondering, he didn't kiss Rick or anything... He whispered something into his ear. You stood close enough to hear what he was saying. He said something along the lines of "Everyone's infected." You gasped. Rick turned around, shock filling his face. What did that mean? We'll all turn? Rick then started walking towards his family. You, acting like you didn't hear anything, ran off to catch up with Daryl who was in the front of the line.

"Hey!" Glenn yelled. "We've got 4 minutes left, come on!!!" Rick ran up to everyone else and they all started running; well, most of them at least. You saw Tdog bring Jacqui up but she pushed away. "I'm stayin'!" She said. "That's crazy." Tdog said. "NO!! its not crazy, I don't want to end up like Jim, or Amy, or Ed. There's no time to argue and no point, you need to get out now." She said. "GO!!" She said. Shane pulled Tdog away from her and she stepped back.

Dale went over to say his goodbyes, when he saw Andrea staying too. "I'm staying." She said. "Andrea, no." He said. He turned to face you all who were watching him. "Just go! GO!" He said to you all. You all started running off. You ran up the stairs, leaving Andrea, Jacqui and Dale down.

When you all entered the main room, the door was shut, locked. You all started banging on the windows with axes and chairs but it wouldn't break. Shane shot at it with his gun, still no crack.

"Rick, I think I found something that might work." She said. "Carol, no nail file is gonna break the glass." He told her in disbelief. She ignored him. "When I was cleaning out your bag, on the first day, I found this." She said, handing him a grenade. "Look out!!" You called and you all ran off, sheltering yourself from the explosion. Rick pulled out the pin and placed it down. "AW SHIT!!" He said and ran towards you all, running while the grenade exploded.

You all covered your eyes. When you looked up, sure enough, the glass was broken. "YEAH!!" You yelled. You all ran out, shooting all walkers that were attracted to the sound. "HURRY!!" Rick yelled. You were all trying to get away from the 'HIT' As far as you possibly could.

You all quickly got inside your cars, about to leave, 17 seconds left, when Dale and Andrea came out, running towards the car. There was 5 seconds left. "Dale, GET DOWN!!" You called out, knowing that the explosion would come. You all honked your horns.

Everyone ducked down inside of their cars, Dale and Andrea hid behind some sacks. Soon, it all exploded into a huge ball of fire!! It spread out very far, but not touching any of you. Dale hopped into the RV, sitting right in the drivers seat, Andrea came in too, so did Shane. "Oh thank goodness." You said. "I thought we'd have to go without a driver. The building fire calmed down but only a little. It turned to black smoke, signaling that the fire was obviously still going on.

You all started driving out, not knowing where to go next. Some of you made attempts to keep a smile on your faces, but others didn't want to smile.
