A/N so I didn't really know what song (from 5H) correlated with the chapter but this one seemed the best.

Lauren's POV
Tonight Sam reserved it for dinner with Dinah and I. Well he said there were a few people coming besides us. When we arrived at his apartment I parked across the street. I went on the other side and helped Dinah out the car.
"Thanks." She said. I went in the back row and grabbed the crutches. I gave them to Dinah and we headed to the apartment.
"So where is it again?" I asked.

"Floor 5. Room 727 H." She said going up the steps.

I stood behind her, incase she fell back. But I mean I don't mind, I like the view.
After quite a struggle to get to the fifth floor we knocked on his door. A few seconds later Sam opened the door.

"Ladies take a seat." He said walking into the living room. I looked up and regretted I came here.

"Oh hell no." Ally said. I don't even know why she was here. Like she wasn't part of any of this.

"Hey hey! We're not fighting. This is my house you all respect my rules." Sam said taking a seat.
"Zendaya, what are you even doing here?"

"I'm helping control these girls. If I let them come by themselves, they'd already be pulling each others hair out." She said taking a seat beside Sam.
"Plus it isn't fair if you judge, your related to Dinah, so We need an equal/fair count here." She crossed her arms.
"Fine." He responded. I grabbed Dinah's hand and squeezed it lightly.

"So let's start with Zendaya. Tell me what you know about the relationship between Camila and Dinah, and if necessary Lauren." Sam said as he folded his fingers.

"Um, are you gonna answer the questions?" She asked with an attitude.

"No because I don't have a problem with any of you. My problem is the fact that you all fight everyday and other people get hurt during the process. You all could be great friends but your taking the wrong paths, and for what? Huh? For what? Give me a good reason!?" He said.

Everyone stayed quiet.
"Ally, is going to speak. That means none of you are. Ally tell me what you know bout these two." He said gesturing between Dinah and Camila.

She cleared her throat before speaking.
"Dinah... Uh Killed Camila's grandma." She blurted but a bit slowly. My eyes widened and Dinah immediately spoke up.
"That's isn't even- !!"
"Uh uh, Dinah, Ally is the one speaking." He warned.
"Lauren go ahead. Anything you know?" He asked me. Dinah squeezed my hand lightly showing that she was nervous. I gave her a reassuring look. Before shifting in my seat and facing Sam.

"Okay so when I was younger, I went to Camila's house for the weekend. I didn't know who Dinah was and I didn't even know that Dinah existed. But when I was with Camila she told me how she and Dinah were best friends and that she'd finally get to sleep over at her house. They used to see each other like everyday, so Camila told me, but one day their parents just came up with excuses and reasons they couldn't take Camila over. That's why Camila had been so excited to sleep over. When we got there we spent the whole day outside just enjoying each others company although I was like the odd one out. So then later at night Camila's mom had dropped by saying that we couldn't sleep over anymore. Camila was in tears, actual tears. Dinah and I were so confused. But we said our goodbyes, got our bags and headed home. After dinner her mom wanted to talk to us..." I said. Looking down at my hands.

"Okay thank you. I expect that you said the truth. And Camila I expect you to say the truth. Please finish the story."  Sam said. He was so calm. Nothing showed me he was nervous or worried. He was calm, just sitting there like nothing was happening.

"How do you know she isn't lying?" Camila said harshly.
He simply said. "I don't."
He folded his hands and waited for an answer. Camila giving in.
"My mom had been crying. I could see it in her eyes. My father wasn't in the room...
Flashback
Camila's POV
"I have some terrible news for both of you." My mom said.
"I can't stay at Dinah's place?" I said being naive. I was only 10, I don't know any better.

"Well that's right, but the news is worse."
She said wiping a tear.

"Well what it is mami?" I asked.

"Grammy is gone, and it wasn't because of the
cancer. I'm sorry Mila but it was Dinah."

" what did Dinah do?" Lauren spoke up.

"She put something in your grandma's drinking making her pass." She said with her head down.

I knew Dinah, she wouldn't do that. She cried herself when my grandma found out she had cancer.

"N-No. Dinah wouldn't do that. She loves Grammy. She not a murderer! " I said. My mom had to be joking. Why would she blame this on Dinah?

" She did. She's a monster. A freak! Mija, what don't you understand? She is only trouble and that's why she didn't want you at her house these past weeks, because she doesn't like you. She used you so she could get to your grandma. I don't understand how she did it, but she did. She is responsible for your grandmas death. Go upstairs I don't want tot talk to any of you right now."
Narrator
Ever since that day Camila's parents kept convincing Camila  that Dinah had done these horrible things. But Dinah held a very important letter and she didn't even know it. Camila never gave her the time of day, and they only grew apart. Especially when high school was coming. Dinah had become a mature responsible and beautiful young girl. Camila was a bit jealous but pushed it all aside because she couldn't be jealous of a criminal. When Camila found out Dinah was gay, she used it against her. Ever since then Camila had a group of friends who bullied Dinah and she didn't care.

Flashback done btw

Lauren's POV
After Camila explained what happened I looked over to Dinah who had tears streaming down her face.

"Dinah, your move." Sam said quietly.

"A- A... I think it was a week, before the sleepover was going to happen, I had told Camila's parents that I was um... Gay. They told me it was best if I didn't tell Camila because, well they didn't know how she'd react. But by the looks on their faces I could tell they were disappointed in me. I'm not saying it's what happened, but it seemed as if her parents were waiting for something bad to happen so I could take the blame and ruin the friendship I once had with Camila. Her parents were basically 2nd parents to me. They took care of me and drove me places if my parents couldn't. Her grandmother taught me how to play the piano and let me help her with the garden. When she died, I didn't know how to react. She gave me a letter before she said she was leaving for a long time. I was young so I didn't know she mean that she wasn't coming back. When my parents decided it was best that I gave Camila some time,  we started to grow apart (from that as well). I tried approaching Camila but every time she'd go all off on me and we haven't gotten along since then..." Dinah finished as tears rolled down her cheeks. I brought the pad of my thumb to her cheeks slowly and wiped away the stray tears. She grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers.
"D-Dinah?" Camila mumbled. Dinah looked over to Camila.
"Do you uh... Still have the letter?" She said hesitantly. Surprisingly Dinah reached in her back pocket and pulled out a folded envelope.

"I never knew when the right time to give it to you was... You'll be the first to read it." She said as the envelope slipped her hand and entered Camila's.

She open the letter slowly and pulled out an old piece of paper....
