We were sent the address the next morning and made our way over to the meeting. We pulled up outside this massive office building and climbed out of the taxi. We were all nervous...to say the least. We all kind of grabbed each others arms as we walked up to the glass spinning door, and it took everything we had to not spend 10 minutes in that spinning door, because if it was up to us, we could've spent all day pissing around in that thing. Everyone one in the lobby was relitively smartly dressed while i walked in wearing Converse, and i had to angle my feet so they didnt squeak against the marble floor, Grace wearing a black beanie saying RAD in white along the front, and El in her Ramones shirt. We quickly shuffled to the desk and gave our names, we were given the floor and room, and we waited until we were able to slip into an empty elevator to climb to floor 11.

"Holy crap this place is fancy" El leaned up against the mirrored wall in the lift.

"I know right? I bet no one knows what rad means in this damn place, so i just look like a div with 3 random letters on my forehead." Grace ajusted her beanie and huffed,

"We'll be alright guys, Paul knows what we look like, he knows our style" This was met with a few mumbles of agreement and the lift dings signalling we were on our floor, which scared the crap out of us because it was such a quick elevator ride, we weren't expecting it to be over so soon. All i can say is thank god El decided not to jump up and down in this fricking lift. She always does that, and it freaks me the hell out...

We walked up to the door and halted, looked at each other and braced ourselves for whatever was about to come.

We came out of that room 1 hour later, with smiles on our faces and our signatures on a contract. A contract that was offered by Paul. A contract that now said Broken Heels would be supporting One Direction on tour.

-----------------------------------

This was a week ago, today we're finally meeting the boys. We have to sing a 5 song set so they know what we sound like, then we'll finally have chance to get to know each other before we have to spend 7 months together pretty much 24/7. A minivan with tinted windows pulled up outside our complex and we piled in with all our shit, bags and phones and Ipods and chargers and...food. (That's one thing that always brought us together, food) It was so strange being in one of those cars, the kind of cars that celebs climb out of at red carpets, that alone was insane. And the fact that we were supporting the biggest boy band in the world on tour was just...mental.

This past week we've all been buzzing, constantly hyper and excited, but as the day got closer, it started to kick in what we had signed up to. We planned to meet the boys on the Friday, exactly a week after Paul saw us at our show. It came to around Tuesday and we started to panic. We started to get together our set list, which took us a while to decide on, we all had suggestions, and all slightly different. So we ended up spending Tuesday sat in our apartment, ordering Dominoes pizza, trying to remember every song we'd heard in our 18 years of life. And we couldnt remember anything, every song seemed to disappear from our minds when we needed them most. It took us ages to get our heads in gear, and when we did, songs were spilling out left, right and centre, and then we couldn't choose. I think it took us 6 hours to finally get a set list together, and we spent the rest of the week practising.

We were sat blabbing on about Thor 2 and Catching Fire when we pulled up to a recording studio. As the car pulled up to a stop we all looked at each other and couldn't contain it any longer. We just had a minute to scream and jump up and down in our seats and squeal random shit at each other. When we finally stopped the driver was stood at the open door, eyebrow raised.

"Sorry dude" El grabbed her stuff and stumbled out the car, Grace followed and I went last, making sure we had everything. When I got out the car, i straightned my shirt, brushed off my jeans, fixed my hair and thanked our driver. He chuckled and got back in the car, we all looked at each other with our eyebrows fixed together,

"It's his job, you dont need to thank him" This random bloke walked past us and into the building.

"Yeah alright then mate!" Grace nodded and gave a thumbs up to his back as he walked in. We all laughed and i stopped when i saw what Ella had in her hand.

"Ella! You cant just bring a whole bloody tube of Pringles?!"

"Dude if these guys are as food obsessed as everyone thinks, we're good" She turned and started towards the door. Grace shrugged with a smile and grabbed my arm, hurling us to catch up with El.

We walked in and were greeted by a group of men, 5 of which obviously very familiar, this was gonna be a long day...
