"Yusuf, is it alright if Capricia comes on patrol with Dogan and I? If she is to stay, she needs to learn the ropes." Yusuf turns around and laughes, looking at me.

"Evet. Don't forget to take the Novices you promised to take. I must speak with Ezio." Harim turns and starts to walk away. Yusuf grabs my shoulder. "May luck be with you. Most likely Harim and Dogan have something... interesting planed for the two Novices today.Bir kelime tavsiyesi. Don't turn your back, and only leap before they do. You might stay out of trouble. Now go. Hemen!" he pushed me and when I looked back, he was gone.

"Capricia! Just because you wear the robes of an Assassin, and have the gear of one, does not render you invisible! Buraya gel!" I sighed and rolled my eyes, following him.

After patroling around the market for a while, the sun began to rise. I went over to a ledge and leapt into a cart of flowers. A hand grabbed my cowl, which I had down, and dragged me out of the cart. I twisted the arm and flipped my attacker to see Dogan.

"Che diavolo, Dogan?" Dogan grinned. Then he leaned down close to my face.

"Oh sevgili, it has just begun." He pecked my cheek and lowered his mask. Harim dropped next to me.

"What was that about?"

"Accidenti a te! I am not an Apprentice! I do not need initiation! Così Dio mi aiuti, if you try anything with Dogan, I will kill you, bastardo!" I spat. Harim's face fell.

"Kahretsin! Does Dogan know your on to us?" I shook my head. "Good. Just, lütfen play along." I sighed.

"Multa."

"Capricia! Harim!" Yusuf ran up to us, being tailed by Byzantines, a huge smile on his face.

"Yusuf! What are you doing?"

"Making more friends?" Harim asked. Yusuf laughed

"Some of my very best friends!" Harim laughed, as if this kind of behavior was normal. The Byzantines attacked, but were easily dispatched.

"Yusuf, why are you even here? Usually you wreak havoc with Dogan or Takat. Why are we so special today?" Yusuf laughed and turned to me.

"Your father wanted me to speak with you. He just left for Cappidocia--" an explosion shook the ground and Yusuf threw his head back laughing.

"That would be your father." a pang of hurt rippled in my chest. In the few days that I had been here, I had spent as much time as possible with Harim and my father. I had grown close with both. Anger joined the pain. Just as Ezio had accepted me as his daughter, he had left with no warning.

"Cappadocia? Perché il diavolo sta andando lì? Perché ti ha detto, e non me? Rispondere alla domanda, Yusuf. Per favore!" Yusuf put his hands up defensivly and looked confused.

"Tamam, just calm down. I don't speak İtalyan. What did you say?" I sighed.

"I asked why he would go to Cappadocia, and why he told you and not me." Yusuf shrugged.

"I would not know. But he also told me to protect a woman at the old Polo trading post... Sofia was her name." I nodded.

"I think he loves her. He talked about her often when we were together. I'll be part of the guard." Harim wrapped his arm around my waist.
