I frequently check my phone, paranoid that what Ethan said was true.

"Ariella, what are you looking at?" Nate says as he sits on the couch. I clear my history and turn off my phone.
"Nothing, Nate!" I say raising my voice a little bit.
He raises an eyebrow.
"Look, Ariella, I understand what you're going through and I'm here to support-"
"No, Nate. You have no clue what I'm going through. Ethan is after me! He told me as soon as he gets out he's coming after me! You don't have people coming for you're life!" I scream.
He nods and doesn't say anything.
"Ariella.. he's not gonna remember who you are when you gets out. He's gonna be in there till he's like 25. So don't be scared. I'm here to protect you."
That's not true at all. One day I'm gonna be moved out of the house. He's not gonna be with me forever..
•• 9 years later ••
"Baby!" Grayson calls from the kitchen.
I roll off the couch and to the kitchen where he stands cooking dinner.
"Yes, Gray?" I reply with a wide smile.
He grabs my small waist and pulls me into a hug which leads into a heated session of kissing.
After about 3 minutes I pull away and he proceeded back to cooking.
"I love you" he screams loudly.
"Love you, too!" I yell back.
About and hour passes by and me and Gray are sitting at our diner table together.
"Happy Anniversary, Ariella" He smiles grabbing my hand.
"Happy Anniversary, Gray." I blush.
I a few bites.
"Remember when we first got together?" He says.
I grin .
"Right after Ethan went to jail you where all paranoid and stuff so I asked to hang out with you. Eventually we hung out more and more. We got together and once you turned 18, I asked you to marry me." He smiles.
My smile began to fade away.
"Ethan" My voice cracks and a tear slips from my eye. I forgot all about that guy. He gets out of prison this year.
"What about my brother?" Grayson asks.
"N-nothing" I say trying to whips the tears away.
"Baby, it's alright.. he's not gonna hurt you as long as I'm here.. Remember that." He says.
•going to sleep•
I lay down in bed and Grayson slips in bed next to me. He wraps his large hands around my body and began kissing my neck.
"G-gray stop" I giggle.
"C'mon baby, we're adults! It's not like Nate is gonna come runnin' in on us, hahahah" He laughs.
I slap his arm and kissed back.
