"It is time to rise, Your Highness." Tyler called out. No response came from the other side of the door. As the one of the head servants, Tyler was assigned to the prince, and he couldn't really get out of it unless he finds someone else willing enough to take the spot. PJ had told him he would be best for the job because he has what it takes to deal with the attitude of the prince. What they both forgot to take into account was Tyler fights attitude with his own attitude, which can't be done with the prince. Working for him was the first time Tyler truly understood that you can't fight fire with fire.
"Eleven!" Connor exclaimed in a whisper from behind him. "That's the eleventh time you've called out and he hasn't responded. Should we just give up?"
"No," Tyler said calmly. "It's our job to make sure the Crown Prince is ready for the day, and I'll be damned if I get fired all because we gave up. Your Highness, it is time to rise." He raised his voice at the last part and accompanied it with three knock at the door.
"Should we get PJ?" Came the whisper of Bethany from beside Connor. She's new to working for the prince, probably two or three weeks, but she has learned that PJ is their best chance at getting the prince to act as decent as he can. Otherwise, they'd have to go all the way to the kitchens where one of the Royal Advisors, Lady Rosanna, frequent.
Footsteps sounded from the end of the hallway and the servant bowed their heads immediately, except for Tyler who dared to lift his head to see the person. Relief flooded his features and a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders as he saw who it was. "Speak of the devil," he muttered to himself, "PJ! PJ! Hey, Ligouri!"
PJ finally looked up and saw these 5 servants crowded around a door. "He still hasn't woken up?"
"No," they all sighed, disheartened.
"You can all go ahead, I'll take care of this." PJ granted. He was probably one of the most lenient people you could work for in the palace. He handles all servants and workers, so the least he could do to lessen the hard work was to be kind.
"Sorry PJ, we tried." Tyler shrugged his shoulders. The rest of the team left with a silent goodbye to the two unfortunate workers. "But I'll stay with you and help out.
PJ rubbed his face with his hand as he stood in front of the door. "Thank you," he whispered quietly, "Someday, I will find someone to handle him. Someday." Then he pushed the doors open and they entered.

"It's been ten minutes since we've entered your room, sire." Oakley updated as he stared at the unmoving figure hidden beneath the blankets. "We are aware that you are awake, Your Highness, and I would like to remind you that you have things to do."
"And those are...?" A muffled reply answered back.
"Well, for one, sir, you need to get ready for the day." The warm bath Liguori had drawn for him minutes ago had no doubt gone cold now. "You need to look presentable to the people with a crown on your head, Your Highness. Then you need to attend your class with Lady Rosanna. It is very important that the Crown Prince learns everything he can before he becomes the king, sire."
"That's it?"
"As far as I am aware, sire, yes."
"Then I'm not getting up." Oakley had to stop and remind himself that this is the Crown Prince and must therefore be treated with respect before he walked over and dragged him to the bath by his hair. He limited himself to rolling his eyes and sighing defeatedly as he looked at Liguori who was just standing by the door and staring at the walls of the dim room, deep in thought. He snapped his fingers and successfully grabbed his attention.
