I felt the familiar warmth and softness of Niall’s lips pushing themselves up against mine. I grabbed him and pulled him closer and kissed him back before realising this was a mistake. I put my hands either side of his chest and forcefully pushed him back. He stumbled back and looked at me confused.
“You can’t do that.” I shook my head in denial.
“What do you mean?” He said quietly.
“That. You can’t do that!” I stamped my foot angrily.
“Why not?” He asked cautiously.
“Because! I’m not your girlfriend anymore Niall. You cannot just kiss me to shut me up anymore, or even kiss me in general!” I could feel my eyes water as I was having my tantrum.
“Understood. I’ll um, leave you be then.” He nodded his head before turning and walking out, slamming the door behind him. I buried my face into my pillow and let out a huge scream, before I curled up and fell asleep.
That familiar feeling in my stomach returned and I ran out the room into the bathroom and back to the normal position over the toilet. Hurling whatever was in my stomach which was not a lot; mostly orange juice. I felt two cold hands on my neck and collect all the hair around my face and pull it out the way.
“When is this going to end?” I heard the Irish in his voice, knowing it was Niall.
“5 weeks.”
“You’ve been asleep for two days Jay…” He said slowly. My eyes widened-
“2 days?!” I said before gagging again and tears went down my cheeks.
“Hey, hey it’s okay.” Niall cooed rubbing my back, making it easier to calm down and not gag as much.
I sniffed back my snot and my tears before falling back into Niall’s arms.
“It hasn’t been this bad before.” I sobbed onto his bare chest which was still toasty warm.
“It’s okay. We’ll get through it. You’re strong, it’ll be okay.” He continued to coo as he planted soft kisses on my forehead. I pushed him off me before throwing up again, cried even harder. This was horrible.
“Niall, I don’t want to do this anymore.” I curled up on the floor in-between his legs and cried into shoulder.
“You can do this. It will get easier, I promise.” He pulled me in tighter and continuously kissed the top of my head.
“You promise?” I continued to cry.
“I do. I promise.” He tucked the hair behind me ear and held my face against his chest. I wanted to stay here forever. The warmth of Niall’s chest and the cold tile floor on my legs was soothing.
“Hey Jamie, are you okay?” I heard Liam calling out for me, his footsteps getting closer. I tried to sit up but Niall wouldn’t let go of me. I looked up to see Liam standing in the door-way awkwardly looking at me and Niall cuddled on the floor.
“She’ll be fine Liam.” Niall said coldly.
“I didn’t know I was interrupting anything.” Liam stated looking at me, ignoring Niall’s comment.
“You’re excused then, thanks.” Niall said with a smirk. I heard Liam scoff and I rolled my eyes.
“You’re both as bad as each other.” I got up and walked out of the bathroom, leaving both boys in the bathroom, which was probably a bad idea but they’re old enough so sort their own shit out.
