I went back to Hogwarts in time for the twins' birthday.
"Happy birthday, losers! Here's your presents."
"LYRA YOUR BACK!!!!" they yelled, "oh and thanks!"
The twins opened their presents. It was a wand for each of them.
"A wand?" asked George.
"A prank wand," I replied, "it pranks people. For example, if you want to fool someone by using an Unforgivable Curse, point the wands at them, say the curse, and they'll think you're actually doing it to them until they realize it's fake."
"Sneaky, I love it!"
"I knew you'd love it."
"Can we test it out?"
"Just wait."
"Fine."
I smiled, we went into the Gryffindor common room. I finished my missed work and shook the twins awake.
"It's also April Fools Day today, wanna do some pranks?"
"Now you're talking!" yelled Fred.
We went to the Slytherin common room.
"'Crucio!'" yelled George using one of the fake wands to Draco. He fell on the floor, yelling and screaming until he realized he wasn't cursed.
"You tricked me!" he yelled at the twins.
"Well, it is April Fools...." I said.
"Quiet!" yelled Draco.
I laughed until tears started coming out of my eyes.
"What's so funny?" asked Malfoy.
"You!" I replied in between giggles.
"What did I do?" he asked, but we were already out of the common room. All three of us started laughing again.
"We really got him pissed," I said.
"Haha, yes," replied Fred.
"Who's next?"
"Snape?" said George.
"Don't even think about it," said a cold voice. We turned around and there stood Snape with his same boring expression on his face.
"Uh, hi, professor," I said trying to maintain calm, but the panic in my voice for the best of me.
"There will be no pranking in this school, as for you Miss Riddle, you've done this so many times, I'll be forced to tell your parents."
"Uh, you mean 'Wilson' because, uh, there isn't a 'Riddle' in my family."
'Way to act cool, loser!'
Snape sighed, "I know the twin's know who your real family is."
"Oh, please don't tell them, if they find out, dad will kill me, LITERALLY!"
"Fine, I won't tell, but don't do it again."
"I can't promise anything," I said confidently.
Snape sighed and stalked away. I turned to Fred and George and said, "that's what happens when your parents are super villains."
"I feel sorry for you," said Fred.
"Don't be, they're still cool, in a sick, twisted way."
"That's hard to believe."
"Come to the manor sometime. Actually, don't, or you'll get killed by my mother, or father if he's there."
"Ah."
