It's been two hours, we're only about a third of the way into the shoot and all we have is two decent pictures.

Now, not that all the others aren't decent, but they're of Cara making stupid silly faces that just won't work for the final product in this one.

"Cara," I say, a bit annoyed, "do you want to be here all day?" I ask as she sticks her tongue out at the camera. She looks over to me and crosses her eyes,

"Nuh," she says stupidly, then uncrosses her eyes and gives me a seductive wink, "unless you're here too."

Before I even have a chance to react, she's laughing at the camera again.

I sigh and roll my eyes before calling everyone on a break. I walk over to Cara who is now sitting in a chair playing with her nails.

"Do you know how boring this gets?" Cara asks me as she diverts her attention from her nails to me. "I mean, sometimes you've just got to make a funny face to get through it all."

"Cara, you've been making faces the whole time." I say to her and she frowns.

"I can't help it." she says.

"How about I glue your mouth shut?" I ask her.

"There's other ways you could keep my mouth shut, love." she says to me before getting up and walking over to the table of food.

I ignore the comment and follow after her,

"Some of us have things to do, Cara."

She turns around and looks me in the eyes, "What on earth could be more important than this?" she says, motioning along her whole body.

"I've got somewhere to be tonight."

"Really?" Cara asked, "I don't remember us making plans."

"Not with you, Cara." I roll my eyes and turn around, walking back over to the cameras. Cara follows after me with a passion fruit in hand.

"Wiff whof theg?" she asks with her mouth full.

"That's none of your business." I state, fixing the camera angles as she follows me with a confused look on her face.

She cuts in front of me and stares me straight in the eyes. "I think it should be." she says and wiggles her eyebrows.

I push her out of the way and call off break.

"Come on, Cara," I say to her, "let's get this over with now, okay?"

She sighs as she walks back to the set, "I don't know," she says, "it might take a while, might have to cancel your plans."

Cara resumes her laughing and playfulness, and we continue with the shoot.

We finish in about an hour, and Cara is still pulling off faces even though the cameras stopped fifteen minutes ago.

"Someone's hyper." I say as Cara runs around with her arms spread out like an airplane.

"Well," she says as she stops in front of me, "I've got a plane to catch tonight, so I need to get all my energy out now."

"Oh, you're leaving?" I say, surprised, and a little bit disappointed.

I don't want Cara to leave. I know I haven't seen her enough to really know her, but it feels like when a friend leaves. You know they'll come back, but you never enjoy the wait.
