Cara ended up taking us to a very nice restaurant. Surprisingly, I'd never heard of it, and I think that's what she was going for.
We arrived back at the hotel around 9, and throughout the whole trip there was no paparazzi or fans to be found.
I knew it wouldn't always be like that, but it was nice.
"I'm going to rinse off real quick." Cara tells me, gently kissing my forehead. I nod and continue to hold my focus on the pictures that currently need to be leafed through. I've neglected to give them the attention over the past few days, having been focused on leaving for the trip.
Of course they weren't pictures of Cara, just another model I'd been working with the past week. She was pretty alright, but she wasn't Cara. It seems that everyone I see now, I'm comparing to Cara. She's just, perfect I suppose. Maybe not to everyone else, but to me she's everything and more. It's not just her looks either, although those are definitely a plus.
With a sigh, I close my laptop and slump back on the couch. My mind can only stay in one place. How I wish it would be as easy as sitting around and doing nothing to make money.
My eyes closed, I feel Cara's weight on the bed moving towards me. She moves up towards me and rests her hand on my cheek, probably looking at my face. I can't tell, with my eyes closed. But I go with instinct.
"You're staring." I mumble and her hand stays put as she just stays quiet. I slowly open my eyes to see her gazing at me with her soft green ones.
"Why are you staring?" I ask her after a moment, and she slowly blinks before sending me on of the cutest little smiles.
"Because you're beautiful," she says to me, caressing my cheek, "and I just want to get a perfect picture of it in my mind."
I blush, closing my eyes again. "Hmm,"I reply, "I'm glad you think so. But, even if you told the whole world, they'd still think I was ugly."
I feel her hand remove from my cheek and open my eyes to see her leaning back with her mouth wide open. "Are you kidding?" she asks me and I shake my head no.
"You're, like, the most beautiful person I've ever laid my eyes on, babe." She says to me and I feel a blush coming up to my cheeks.
"Are you sure my face isn't just so super clear because of the new face wash I got that you can see your reflection in it?" I say to her, smirking.
She rolls her eyes at me and leans against her elbow on the bed. "Nope. That's definitely not it."
"I don't believe you." I say, opening my laptop again.
"Oh really?" she says and I just raise my eyebrows while keeping my eyes focused on my laptop.
Before I know it, she's off of the bed and walking towards the balcony.
"What are you doing?" I ask her as she opens the door to the balcony and turns to me, smirking.
"I'm about to tell the whole world how beautiful you are," she says to me, before whispering quietly, "naked."
I quickly get up off the bed and rush in front of her, closing the door and blocking it off with my body.
"You haven't even seen me naked yet." I say, shocked.
She smirks, "We can change that."
I roll my eyes and push her over and down onto the bed, climbing on top of her with a smile plastered onto my face. "Not yet, my love. When the time comes, possibly. But I promise you it won't be what you're expecting."
