Alice POV ;

Annalyn havent spoken in three days.I dont know why,but Ive been taking care if her.I've never been that selfless in my life.I like Annalyn,because she's not better than me.She doesnt have any friends and she doesnt talk much.She listents when I blaber and she is nice.

we've been locked here ever since a dark man came with Annalyn in his arms.He was very handsome, in my opinion.

I hear the door unlock and I dont bother to look thinking it's Justin.

"Hello Alice and Niall" I flinch.I hate Elliot's voice.

Elliot sits on Annalyn's and Justin's bed.

"What do you want?" Niall spits

"Justin is dying you see " Annalyn's head snaps in Elliot's direction " The only way to save him is if someone volunteered to die instead of him"

"Take me" Annalyn practically yells

she hasnt spoken in three days.I didnt know she cared about that pathetic piece of ass that much

"I would love to Annalyn" Elliot laughs , can someone be that heartless? " But its a test .There are two of you in this room who wouldn't mind sacrificing their lives for another human and one who wouldnt even do it for their own parent." He looks at Niall "You have three days to decide who will volunteer ,and if you make the right choice Justin lives.If you dont , you know what happens" he smiles at me and walk towards the door

"But how are we supposed to know who that person is?" Annlyn asks

"Thats what this is all about" he gives her one last smile and leaves

"Okay , Okay"Annalyn says "Who feels like they dont want to save Justin and die"

"No one wants to die Annalyn" I say

"Justin's one of my favorite people in the world,but I wouldnt kill myself for him" Niall says

Annalyn looks at the both of us like we are the ugliest humans in the world

"Annalyn dont look at us like that" Niall sighs

"Shut up Niall" she glares at him "One of us can save Justin's life and youre not even trying!" she yells the last part

"Well Im sorry id rather live than die for someone who wouldnt do the same for me!" he yells back

"How do you know he wouldnt do the same for you?" she whispers

"Anne I met justin for the first time in 2012.I was one of his biggest fans.But he didnt turn out-" Niall hugs Annalyn "It doesnt matter.We'll figure something out okay?" he gives her a small smile

"No.It's not okay"Annalyn says exasperatedly "He is not as bad as you guys think.He's got a heart of gold"

"You dont know him" she whispers

She walks towards her bed and closes her eyes.She is so weird.

I don't understand Elliot. I mean I know this is all a game for him,but seriously, killing someone?  He's gone too far.

Annalyn POV ;

They will kill Justin in two days.

Justin

I'll never see him again.He is my only friend. He accepts me for who I am.He is also awfully annoying and effusive, but I don't mind.

I am going to volunteer tomorrow. I never feared death, after all its inevitable.

But what if I'm not the one they want. Elliot said that the right person wouldnt want to volunteer. Does that mean that we should force them?

Niall made it clear that he doesn't want to volunteer. Alice didnt talk much.

"Alice?" I hoax

"hmmm" 

"Do you like Justin?"  I ask

"I like everyone" she giggles

"Would you die for Justin?"  I ask

"of course"  she smiles

If Alice wants to volunteer, that only means that Niall Is the one they want.

"Alice, we need to convince Niall to volunteer"  I say

"But if we do,doesnt that mean that he would volunteer willingly?"  She asks

"Yeah so?"  I ask

"They dont want someone who's willing to volunteer"  she says

She has a point. This doesn't make any sense.

What is wrong with me, I cant think.

Why am I turning into a weak emotional person?
