Chapter 05: Too Good

I smiled when I entered the room and I see two smiling faces "So how did it go?" I swoon over the fact that Marco might actually like me back "Amazing.." I lay back on my bed and hold my hands on my heart, still feeling the touch of his lips on my cheek "So, no more Jackie?" I sat up and shrugged "I don't know, he seemed bummed about her doing that, but as far as I know, I guess not" Janna nods

"Well he better not mess with your feelings Star" I nodded "He wouldn't do that, Marco isn't like that" she rolls her eyes and starts going to bed and I head to the bathroom and take a shower, as I look at myself in the mirror I kinda worry, is Janna right? He might just use me to get his fix? But Marco isn't like that! He's kind and caring and handsome, oh boy I'm drowning here..

When we all got up early and ready for our day, we were going to a studio and learn about making things depending what you wanted "Hey Star, wanna partner up today?" I look and see Marco smiling at me and I smiled "Sure, Janna you wouldn't mind right?" "Nope..later" she walked off and I look at Marco who looks happy and not sad like last night "You seem happy?" He pulled me in a side hug and put his arm on my shoulder

"Of course I am, I'm hanging with the coolest girl I know" I giggle and blush while I push him "Shut up Marco" he chuckles and when we look we see Jackie come and look at us "Hey guys, you seem close" I just wanted to push her down on her pretty face of hers "Yeah like you are with Blake!" I said and I got a couple people's attention even Blake's "What are you talking about?"

"You kissed Blake! I saw, he saw, you hurt him even though you claim you like him, if you did you wouldn't have done that" I wasn't holding back anymore "I..ugh, why were you two in just your underwear at the pool?!" Was she watching us? "Girls, that's enough, now both of you separate"

Ms Lee stepped in front of us before it got uglier, I was moved away and talked to the teacher and Jackie just glared at me and Marco "What's going on? I hope we aren't having issues here, that would be a shame if we had to send you home early" I groan "Ms Lee, if you liked the person would you go behind their back and kiss someone else?" She shook her head

"No, I wouldn't" I nodded "My point, she's just mad because Marco doesn't like her" I say putting my hair in a messy bun "Alright, you two need to be away from the problem" I raised my eyebrows "And that is?" She points at Marco and I began to whine "What? You can't I barely have time with him on these trips, please Ms Lee, I'll behave I promise"

I said pleading "Sorry Star, but it's just for today, you'll be with Ingrid" Ingrid held on her decapitated teddy bear "Really?" She nods "It's for your own good" I sigh and Marco walks near me "So what she said" I put a sad face and look up at him "We can't be partners today, because your the issue I guess" he sighs

"I'll guess I should find another partner" Janna came towards us and put her arms around us "Marco can be my partner, just so we can hang and not be sad" I smiled and hugged Janna "Janna your a lifesaver" "Tell me something I don't know"

As we got to the studio we did all kinds of stuff, I made a little sculpture of two figurines dancing, I liked how it came out and it was unique in my way, I looked over at Ingrid and she made a figurine and chopped it's head off, I shake my head and move mines away just in case..as I look across from me I see Marco making something and Janna made a blob I think,

it was just melted stuff together..as we let our figurines sit out we went for lunch, I asked Ms Lee if I could sit next to Marco but she said no, which really irritated me "please, it's lunch time and I didn't even talk to him in the studio, you know how hard that is for me?" I said grabbing her arm "Alright just for lunch, but when we go back no more near Marco understand?" I nodded and hugged her

"Yes, and thank you!" I quickly go to Marcos table that had Ferguson, Alfonso, Janna, I took my seat and he smiled at me "Did you ask?" I nodded "Yeah, I begged to sit here you know how hard it is to not talk to you?" He chuckles and gives me a cute smile "Oh Star" I blushed and looked away, as I did I saw Jackie with Blake, she looked upset and annoyed, I guess she really liked Marco, but I won't forgive her for blowing up our spot.

I felt a hand grab my hand under the table and I blushed at and looked at Marco, he was totally fine and he was enjoying this "Can I help you Diaz?" He shrugs "I don't know, can you?" It was hard not to kiss him, he needs time to forget about her and I don't want to rush things even I don't care "Your all flirty all of sudden? Any reason why?" He nods "Actually, I wanna ask you something, but you'll have to wait later"

I smirked and poked his chest "No fair, but I guess I can wait more" we laughed and forgot we had other people at the table "Are you guys dating?" Ferguson said bluntly "No dude, we're not dating..yet" he whispered that last part and my heart started to flutter, I was happy and for once I wasn't even doing much to get his attention "Well can you stop, eye fucking each other, it's making me lose my appetite"

Janna said in a joking manner "Okay, sorry" after lunch I had to say goodbye to him which I hated "See you later" Marco said hugging me tight "Yeah, see you" Janna pulled me away and I groan "Enough of this, it seems like you two act like your gonna die if your separated?" I shake my head and go back to my partner after everything was dry and done, we were able to take it home as we returned I was pulled aside by Jackie,

I moved my arm from her and glared "What is it Jackie?" I said not caring anymore "I want to say sorry for saying those things, I didn't mean them and the things you said were true, I don't know my feelings for Marco but now that I'm away from him..I feel empty like nothing is there" what is she trying to do? "Jackie, I know that you like Marco and stuff but you can't just kiss your best friend and expect everything to be good? Marco is a little upset with you maybe you should apologize to him and see if you guys can be friends"

I might not like her but I'm not gonna make her go away even I wanted to "Thanks Star" she gave me a smile and I returned it back "No problem" when we got to the hotel I felt arms wrapped around my waist as I look it was Justin and I pushed him away from me "Whoa! What the heck are you doing?" He looks at me confused "I thought you might like that?" I nodded "I do but with the special someone, you can't just do that Justin who told you to do that?"

He pointed at Jackie who was talking with Marco, that little rat "Justin your a cool guy and all but I like someone else, I hope you understand, now excuse me" as I got closer I saw Jackie kiss Marco and my heart sank I ran past them "Star! Wait!" I heard his yell and I ignored it and went into my room, I knew it was too good to be true..
