Chapter 15: Illusions

Star Pov
This was it the final day we'll be in Florida and we get to go home as a couple. What a crazy and insane weeks we have been having. I just want to go home and relax with Marco and have a great time like we always do. "Morning girls ready to go home?"

Ms Lee entered and we were half awake while the others were passed out "It's too early..and we don't leave until later" Janna said as I agreed "I know I'm just making sure everyone has their things packed before we return from today's last stop" we nod as she leaves and Janna looks at me "So is Marco okay? He had like a panic attack yeterday?"

"He's fine we talked it out. I can't believe I'm with him" "Why do you sound so surprised?" "Because Marco just saw me as a friend and nothing more. He always wanted to be with Jackie and I stood by his side and helped. But now I'm actually his girlfriend and we're leaving here as a couple which is amazing!"

I gush as Janna threw my pillow "Oh shut up with the love. I'm just happy for you Star" "Thanks Janna" as the day started I was putting things away as I just kept the outfit I was gonna wear to go home. Janna said she's leaving in her sleepwear and I just rolled my eyes.

She took some of the hotel shampoos and other things I'm pretty sure you can't take but it's Janna and whatever she does she's good at it. As I walke out my room Marco did as well and I rush to him as he chuckled and kissed me "Morning princess" "Hey" we walked to meet the others in the dinning hall to eat breakfast together one last time before we go.

"Last day here. Did you have fun?" I nodded "Yeah I had fun. I have you now and we had so much fun even on our worst days" he chuckles "That's true maybe It would have been better if it came out a different way. You know a different outcome?" "Knowing us it's always a mess Marco"

we laughed as he pulled me closer "We're a mess" "Yeah we are but it makes us perfect that way" he kissed my head as we made it and sat at a table and waited for the food. "Do you know what we're doing?" "I heard shopping again but also a free day? Who knows I just want to go home and watch movies with you"

I blushed "Aww Marco" as I was going to kiss him the teacher shot us a look and we sat back down "And be also to kiss you without supervision" I giggled "Oh you be quiet" after having breakfast and an hour meeting with the teachers telling us at what time to wake up and start heading to the airport we were dismissed to do last minute shopping and just relax for a bit before we head out.

When it came to it we were all gathering to the bus and going to the airport to go home. I was tired and I managed to sit with Marco on the bus and lay my head on his arm and took a nap. When we got there it was just like before. No one really there and just our class. "I'm tired Marco.." He smirks as he caresses my cheek "When we get on the plane you'll fall asleep quickly"

When we boarded the plane I yawn and started to fall into deep sleep. I didn't even realized I was laying my head on Janna's shoulder as marco was putting our bags away. I still couldn't believe me and Marco were a thing and to think it took weeks to be able to have him? It's amazing.

*RING*

That's a bit odd? Why am I hearing a sound? In a plane? Or someone pranking me?

*RING*

I groan as i opened my eyes and see we're back home? I quickly get up and rush towards Marcos room and he's not there. I run downstairs and see his parents "Star? How you feeling honey?" "What? What do you mean?" "Oh you fell sick before the big trip. Marco wanted to stay but he decided he'll call instead"

my heart broke as seeing I've dreamt the whole thing and now Marco has a chance with Jackie and I'm not there. "Star you hungry?" "No. I'm going to my room" they looked at each other and at me "You okay?" "I'm fine." I was defiantly not fine! I got sick and dreamt the whole thing! I don't even remember how I got sick? All I ate were cookies Janna have me and-

"Wait? Those cookies were shaped as a seashell! That witch!" I groaned and flopped onto my bed "She planned this from the beginning so she can have Marco to herself" "sucks doesn't it?" I turn and see Janna "What do you want?" "I want to apologize for tricking you into eating those cookies" "Oh. Wait why aren't you on the trip?"

"Oh I was but I got sent home cause I kinda destroyed hotel property." "I don't even want to know. How's Marco?!" "Chill. He's a bit gloomy if I'm honest I guess he wanted you to go" "Yeah right he's been after Jackie for so long and it's his chance" "Well he misses you Star. I know you both are besties and whatnot but I think Marco might like you a bit more then Jackie"

I blush and sigh "I hope so Janna. Hey since the senior class are gone want to do stuff while they come back?" "Sure I got nothing better to do" as I got dressed and went downstairs I opened the door and there stood Marco panting and carrying his suitcase "Marco? I thought you were on the class trip?" "I was sent home cause I didn't listen and destroyed some property" Janna smirks

"Give me some diaz" he shook his head as he looked down at me "Why did you do it?" I said in a whisper as all I could hear was my heart pounding "You weren't there" I gasp and turn red as Janna walks by and winks at me. She probably planned this "What?"

"Star. I know that I had feelings for Jackie and whatnot but I never realized how important you really are to me. When you got sick I didn't even want to go but I did and I wish I haven't. On the ride there I kept thinking if you were okay and if you needed anything." I covered his mouth because he was nervously rambling "Marco get to the point"

I moved my hand as he took a deep breathe "I love you" my heart bursted as heard his voice repeat in my head "You love me?" "I do. I really do Star. I'm sorry i didn't say it sooner" I giggled and ran into his arms making us fall on the ground as we laughed "I have a confession to make" "Alright. What is it star?"

"I love you too." He smiled and pulled me closer and kissed me "I'm not dreaming right?" I pinched my arm and looked around "It's real star" I laughed and was feeling so bubbly that my best friend confessed to me and it's what I've been waiting for.
