Mcfast ran for cairl's now cold body, hoping to force the egg out of his throat. He reached where he thought he body would be, but it was gone.
Dumbfounded, he wonder where it possibly could've gone.
Then he saw lion eating cairl's dead body.
"Cÿka bÿlat, Lion, what the hell are you doing? I need that body to get to jimble! Let go of him, now!"
The lion said nothing, so Mcfast poured ipecac into the lions mouth, forcing the lion to vomit it's insides out. Mcfast saw cairl's head in the puddle of raw sewage and grabbed it. He shook off all the vomit to find the esophagus, and reached in.
He pulled out the egg and inspected it. It appeared to have no cracks in it, so it seemed it would work in the scanner. He found cairl's torso in the puddle of vomit and used it as a shield to defend himself from the egg launchers.
When he reached the scanner, he put the egg inside and waited. The egg launchers stopped shooting and retracted into the shed, and after a little bit later, the door to the shed slid open with a silent CREEEEEAAAAK.
He walked inside, having no idea what would await him inside, be it an old friend in jimble, or death.
***********
He walked inside. It was a small room, filled with items that a treehouse might have; a small table, miscellaneous items, and a couple chairs. The walls were wooden planks spaced apart at random intervals. There was a metal door with an also metal doorframe to accompany it at the back of the room. To the right of it was a small panel, with what appeared to be statistics running from left to right. Attacked to it was a small keyboard.
Mcfast walked up to the door, looking for a way to gain access and enter the doorway. He didn't see any way to open it, like a doorknob or keyhole, so he decided to inspect the panel attached to the door. There was what appeared to be a place for a hand, so he set his own in. As he did, he could feel lasers run up and down the palm of his hand, then felt a quick sharp pain. He pulled his hand up quickly, due to reflex from his habit of resting his hand on rusty nails, and saw a small square of skin on his palm was gone, but not enough to make him bleed.
He looked back at the panel, to see it construct a 3D model of him. The model blinked twice, then had the words "Go Mcfast" under it. He heard hissing sounds from the door.
He looked over to see it slide inwards at a slow pace, then slide to the left, revealing a pitch black passage which seemed to go on forever. He turned to the panel to see the words, "WELCOME, MCFAST. PLEASE STEP INTO THE DOORWAY."
He did what he was told, and stepped in. After a couple steps in, he couldn't see himself. He was absorbed in darkness.
That's when he got a sudden falling feeling.
He was falling down, down, down into a burning ring of fire.
