Of course, when I was ten I'd only managed to write down three before giving up and playing on my game boy, so the first time I found out I had cancer, I searched for days for the shitty list 10 year old me wrote. But I didn't get round do fulfilling any of the tasks and when I won my battle against cancer, I stuck it on my wall to remind me that I'm a fighter, and that I beat cancer. Or so I thought.

See, cancer struck again when I was least expecting it, a few days after my 18th birthday, I began showing symptoms for cancer again, and so I went to get checked out, hoping it was just a bug, a simple cold, but I was told that my cancer had come back and that it had spread from my blood, up to my head. Being told that I had no more than a year to live was painful, terrifying, I spent a week in my bed, crying wishing that instead of suffering I could die then. But something hit me, people are unlucky enough to die from strokes, murder, quick illnesses, if anything, my 11 months to live were a blessing, I could spend time with my family, maybe complete my bucket list.

The first task on my list was soon to be crossed off.
