A New Journey Begins!

Chapter 4: Dense Boy

I really appreciate the help that she has given me and she's really creative, but annoying sometimes but what can i say. Its been 8 months since I've reunited with Ash. A lot of things have changed, and we all have gone through a change at least once. Ash had participated in the Kalos League, I had attempted to beat Aria in a performance battle for the title of Kalos Queen. Alas, i couldn't do it, but thats okay. Ill never give up the dream that i have. Well, one of them i should say. The other... Lets not talk about that. Everyone has split off from us. Bonnie and Clemont have gone away for now, back to their Gym in Lumiose City and to spend time with their Dad. He was such a good man. We even figured out that he was the Legendary Blaziken Mask! He had a Mega Blaziken that was very powerful. So now all thats left now is for me to pursue my other dream... And I have no idea whats on Ash's mind right now. Probably food of some sort or battling or Pokemon  It never surprises me what comes out of his mouth though. Its always something interesting and I find that attractive about him. He's always so sweet to his Pokemon, and he pushed me so i could go through the Master Class. He helped me try at my dream and I supported his. Now what? Its just me and Ash now and its so... Different... 

Ash's POV

I've finally finished my journey through Kalos, although I really want to stay here a little bit longer before going back home to see mom. I'm traveling with just Serena now and it's really a lot of fun. I get to enjoy her sweet baking and her cookies that she makes and just everything. She pushed me through the Kalos League and I really couldn't have made it through without her. It's strange. I feel different when I'm around her. Sometimes it's hard to control how I am with her. I feel happy when I'm with her and everything that she has done for me, she's been so supportive of me and it seems like I've grown a whole lot closer to her over the time that she has traveled with me...

"Ash I think it's getting dark, what are we going to do? Do you want to sleep out tonight, or should we go to a Pokemon Center? It doesn't really matter to me, as long as I'm with you." She trailed off, a tint of red on her face. Was she sick? Did she have a fever?

"Serena are you okay? Your face is getting red... Are you sure you're not-" I mumbled as I put the back of my hand up against her forehead. She was really warm, and I was worried about her.

"Y-yes Ash, I'm f-fine... I promise," she stutters with a girly smile, and her hair in her face.

"I suppose we can sleep under the stars tonight if you wanted to. I think Clemont left me one of his compact tents," I say as I sit down on a nearby log and pull out a small blue box. The name on it says COMPACT TENT SLEEP DEVICE 9001!

"His names still haven't changed a bit have they, even after all this time." I laughed as I shook my head.

We look around for a few minutes and then we come to an area by a lake. Its really nice, and being that we are near Lumiose City, I might actually stay a little bit longer here and just hang out with Serena.

"Ash, over here! I think I found a spot. It's really nice, and we can see the moon clearly too!" Serena said as she waved me over to the nearby lake.

Minutes later we have the tent setup, which I'm very surprised that the tent itself didn't explode, knowing Clemont, but his inventions have been getting better and he actually left me a few so I am very appreciative of that.
