You sit in your car, staring at the rain pit-pat on your windshield.
Your name is (Y/N), and you are a college drop-out. It's not that you couldn't or didn't want to go to college, you just can't afford it right now.
You're currently in your car, parked outside of where you work. CeeCee's Pizza. You probably need to get a better job, or at least work on your people skills. You're, in all honesty, a pretty bad cashier.
Now, why are you simply sitting in your car? You're waiting for your roomate/best friend, Sam. Samuel Muddiman, to be exact. He decided to buy a pizza right after your shift ended. Why? You have no idea.
Listen to me.
You glance around. It's 8:39 PM, raining, and therefore very dark outside. The light from your headlights, workplace, and nearby streetlights don't help too much. Your town, Faith, is simply a dark town.
Can you hear me?
You sigh impatiently. Sam's taking forever just to get a pizza. You consider running into the store, but you'd probably get soaked because of the storm.
I can see you now, can you see me?
You continue watching the rain splatter across your windshield. Something runs in front of your headlights, making you jump. It was humanoid, but you only caught the silhouette of the thing.
Ahahah.
"Hello. . . ?" you ask, looking around outside. You thought you heard someone whispering. But... It couldn't be outside. It sounded way too close.
Hear me now?

CHOOSE.

Option One.
"Yeah, I can now. How long have you been talking. . . ?" you ask quietly. You know this voice, so why panic? This is the voice in your head, the one you've been able to talk to for your entire life.

Option Two.
You jump, and scream in fear. You recognize this voice. This is the voice that's haunted your mind and dreams for your entire life. This voice is something to fear.

Option Three.
"Shut up! Shut up, and leave me alone!" you snap. You know this voice, and you hate it. This voice is the voice that's put you through Hell for your entire life.

Option Four.
You hear the voice, but ignore it. You've heard this voice for your entire life, and you've learned it's best to simply ignore it.

I will NOT write the next chapter until AT LEAST TEN PEOPLE VOTE FOR AN END IN THE COMMENTS. Thank you!
