Part 9

I hear a knock at my door so i get up from my bed that i was laying on to stare up at the ceiling. I open the door to come face to face, well, face to chest, with Evan.

"What's up buttercup?" I ask as i lean against the door frame.

"Supper is ready for your information," Evan says as he goes to walk away. I nod my head and walk afyer him, closing my door behind me. I see everyone around a giant table where everyone was sitting. Evan sat at the end while I sat at the only seat at the table left, in between Delirious and Luke.

We all grabbed food and dug in, having a small talk when our mouths weren't filled to the brim with chicken, and when i mean chicken i mean fried chicken.

When we finish eating we go to the planning room. I stand next to Evan with Lui next to me. There was a map of my fathers headquarters that Luke somehow achieved getting. We were trying to figure out how to get in and out without getting caught, hopefully.

"He usually has two guards at each door, but he does have one was in and out thats not usually guarded, and thats this rooms window. It may be on the second floor but you can easily use a grappling hook since there is no window," I said pointing to my old room.

"How do you know this?" Luke asks as he stares at me.

"Either I can fill you guys in later or one of these guys can explain while i go over plans with Evan and the rest," I said as I glare at him.

"Fine we can talk later," he said.

"Okay, what about that hallway then?" Evan asks, talking about the hallway outside of the room.

"Theres one around the corner over here guarding this room, and one guard posted at this door," I said pointing to my mothers room. He has not allowed anyone in that room since that day. I blink back the tears and look away.

"Where do you think he would be kept at?" Lui asks from my right. I shift the blue prints to the attic.

"He brings everyone he captures up into the attic because if someone does break into the building they are usually on the first floor or they believe that they bring them into the basement. But the basement is where they train and keep their guns," I said as I point to the many rooms that are used as cells up in the attic.

"So it would be an easy access from that room and up to the attic since the stairs are right there and they lead to the attic," Del says pointing to the stairs.

"If we do get noticed there is a space under the stairs that can fit two people that little people know of and then theres a hidden trap door up in the attic that has stairs that lead down all the way to the first floor kitchen which is in the back and is usually empty unless its either 9 am, noon, or 9 pm," I said pointing to the spot that has the trap door. Thats how I was able to get a midnight snack as well as a candy bar or two for a prisoner since the night guards were posted outside of the door.

"There are guards posted outside the room at night but theres a 98 percent chance that they will be asleep after 11 pm, then guards here, here and here but with a good distraction like a dog or a cat can easily get them to look the other direction. This place is heavily guarded but we must try our best to stay out of this room since its Zeros room," I said pointing to different areas that im talking about.

"So we could go in through the window, Lui and Nogla will stay outside and watch the outside where we enter and exit since they are on the same side. Basically and ohm you guys will be in the vans down the street waiting for our signal to come to the side and pick us up. Everyone else we will head in and while keeping our eyes peeled we will make our way to the stairs to the attic where Wildcat and Luke will keep watch at the stairs. Me, Del and Mini will go in and get Brock while Luna opens the trap door in the wall," Evan says explaining the small description before we get tactical.

"Do you think it would be a good idea for her to go into that place since, you know," Del asks.

"The most that could happen is I get a few scratches from a knife and they realize were there, we need her because shes the only one that knows where the hatch is," Evan says. I look down and pretend to be memorizing the maps even though I dont need to.

"We roll out tomorrow at 9 pm, we will hopefully get there around 11. We will talk about this more tomorrow but for now go and sleep. Luke, Ohm, you can take Brocks room for now," Evan said. I continue to go over the rooms and what I remember in my head as everyone leaves. I take a look at the kitchen area to see a door leaving outwards. For sure we would have to knock those two guys out but by the time they come to we would be long gone and they would probably have already realized that we were there because they would see Brocks gone.

"Hey, you alright?" I hear Evan ask from my left making me turn to face him.

"Its been a while since ive been there, and the last memory that I remember from that place isnt the best even if it wasnt the true memory," I said as I looked down.

"I know, but you need to try to stay focused for Brocks sake," he says putting his hands on my shoulders.

"I know, first mission in a while nerves im guessing," I said as I look up at his face, his sunglasses on his face still.

"Thats why you should be going to your room and go to sleep, now go," he says as he starts pushing me around the table and out the door politely.

"Fine, night," I said as I turn around and walk to my room. I walk in and change into black pjay shorts and a dark purple tanktop before I climb into bed and close my eyes, falling asleep.
