Chapter 6: 400 Years Old

Sting's P.O.V.

"And it seems Natsu wants to talk to you." The demon wearing Natsu's skin says.

I don't say anything and just stare at the demon as my hands are gripping the bars of the cell. Natsu's body suddenly goes limp and when he reopens his eyes I could tell the difference in the atmosphere that was there a moment ago. "Natsu?" I ask.

He slowly nods his head not making eye contact with me. I'm relieved to know that this is Natsu but my anger hasn't subsided in the least. I bang the bars of the cell trying to get him to look at me, "Natsu!" I yell. "Look at me dammit and talk to me!" I yell. Rogue places his hand on my shoulder and says, "Sting calm down!" in an authoritative voice not wanting to put up with my "temper tantrums" as he calls them.

I let go of the cell's bars as I turn around running my hand through my hair trying to calm down, it worked a little but not much. "I'm going to run up to get Wendy and Gajeel." Gray says as he heads up the stairs.

The three of us just stand there in silence until I finally speak up, "Why didn't you tell us you were alive?" I say through gritted teeth. "They were scared about the magic council, and besides it was probably a good thing they didn't tell you anything because it wasn't even me who came back. I still think it would be better if you thought I was dead but I need to te-" I interrupt him by punching the wall in front of me causing it to dent.

"Sting!" Rogue yells at me but I ignore him. "Do you have any idea how hard it was on us when we found out you were dead!" I yell at the wall. Natsu says nothing as Rogue just stands there in silence looking at the ground since hit pretty hard by the news.

"After the funeral the whole guild was silent for a week! You may not be a member of Sabertooth but we still thought of you as family!" I continue yelling with a few tears in my eyes but I refused to let them fall.

I then turn around and walk up to the cell again with my head down as I stare at my feet. "You guys should have told us the second you got back. I don't care there is a demon in you because I know you can beat it and make it through this." I say. I lift my head up and make eye contact with Natsu. "You will pull through this right?" I ask. He doesn't say anything and I'm about to speak up but I hear footsteps coming down the stairs so I decide to keep my mouth shut.

"Alright everyone is here." Gray says. "Thanks, now get out Gray." Natsu says. "Eh? Couldn't you have said that a little nicer?" Gray asks annoyed. "Just get out Gray." Gajeel says. Without another word Gray heads up the stairs and we hear the door close.

"What do you need to tell us Natsu-san?" Wendy asks. "Alright I don't exactly know how to say this but... remember how all of our dragons were inside of our bodies so we wouldn't turn into dragons?" Natsu asks. "Yah." Rogue says confused where this is going.

"Well the spell they used made them weaker so they needed to go to a time period that had a high level of etherion, and that year was X777." Natsu says. All of our eyes widen not completely understanding but have an idea of what he is trying to say.

"Natsu-san, what are you trying to tell us?" Wendy asks. We were all actually born 400 years ago. That's why Gajeel and I couldn't go through Freed's enchantment that said you had to be younger than 80 and why no one has ever seen a dragon. We are all 400 years ago." Natsu finally finishes.

No one says a word as we all stare into space. Eventually we are all sitting not knowing how to process this information. After a minute we all look at each other and smile as we start to laugh. "Damn Levy is never going to let me hear the end to this." Gajeel says after he calms down. "No one can call me a kid anymore." Wendy says. "I can't wait to talk to those people who said I'm too young to be a master." I say. "Yah but you still act like a 10 year old." Rogue says. "Hey!" I yell at him as we all start to laugh again, except Natsu.

"How are you guys taking this so well, I just told you that we are 400 years old?! We aren't even supposed to be alive in this day and age!" Natsu yells at us. "I don't know about you but I know I belong in this time period. I don't care if I was born 400 years ago I am supposed to be living in this era with and all of y'all." Gajeel says. "Gajeel you still manage to surprise me." Rogue says. Gajeel doesn't say anything but you can see a slight hint of pink on his cheeks. "I agree. I am supposed to be the master of Sabertooth, not the one starting it." I say. Natsu doesn't say anything but a small smile forms on his face as he lets a little chuckle out. "You guys a ridiculous." He says and all of us smirk. "Well if that's all we should probably go back upstairs and explain a few things to the others." Gajeel says. "Hah yah, have fun with that." Natsu says. "Giihii" Gajeel says as we stand back up.

As we start to go upstairs Natsu calls Rogue and I to stay.

"What is it Natsu?" Rogue asks. "Are you guys going back to Sabertooth?" he asks. "Yah, but don't worry we'll come back in about a week or so." I say. As I say that Natsu seems to slump down and to lose the small confidence he had a moment ago. "I need to tell you guys something before you leave." He says.

Haha anyways I updated within the month again! By the way have any of you guys read the most recent chapter of Fairy Tail (chapter 503)? I'm so excited but at the same time I'm terrified!
