The Little Girl Who Wasn't

This story is from a young woman who lived in a creepy house from age eleven to sixteen.

When she moved in with her parents, she felt something wasn't right with the house but left it alone as her parents didn't believe in the paranormal. For four years this young woman lived in this house where she would constantly see a little girl with blonde curly hair wearing a rose coloured dress standing in the bathroom across the hall from her room. She said this little girl looked like a picture from 1905.

She started to close the door so she didn't have to see her every time she walked past but the little blonde haired girl was always there when she opened the door. This young woman said she felt sorry for this little girl as she said it felt like she was trapped in that one room unable to go anywhere else.

One year when this young woman was fourteen she had a friend stay with them from out of town, this friend didn't know about the little girl. One night, the friend asked to use the bathroom the across the hall, when she came back to the girl's bedroom she asked about the little girl and said she didn't seem like a little girl. The young woman started to notice this too and was starting to get more freaked out by the entity in her bathroom.

Eventually this young woman moved out with her parents and she distanced herself as much as possible from that house. One day when she was eighteen, the woman returned to the house with a different friend to collect some more of her belongings as they were left at that house (her parents still hadn't sold the house). When they arrived her friend seemed uncomfortable but told the woman he was fine. They went into the house and started taking boxes out to the car when he asked to use the bathroom. She told him he could use the bathroom across from her room since they were in her room.

Her friend saw the little girl in the bathroom and quickly got out slamming the door. He said he saw her and that she said she wasn't happy with this woman because she just left her trapped there. She was far from a little girl.

They left with as many boxes they could fit in the car and sped out of there. She hasn't been back to that house and her parents sold it five years later.
