Onestar paced back and forth. "Where is Feralstorm?!" He yowled.
"He and a patrol are probably fighting off the wolves again." Darkshadow meowed.
"He should have been back and done ages ago!" The white and ginger tom snapped.
"Those wolves are not foxes or badgers Onestar." Mothshine rasped.
"She's right." Blackflight added.
Dawnreed padded into camp beside Whitestar. "We just returned after running into Foxstar and Sneakingfoot." The cream furred she-cat meowed.
"What happened?" Tallclaw asked.
"He says a wolf killed one of his senior warriors recently.." Whitestar meowed. "May they walk with StarClan." Silverflight mewed.
"Where's father?" Hazelheart asked Lightspot.
"I don't know, but I'm getting worried.." The tan and white she-cat meowed, the tip of her tail twitching.
Dawnreed was grooming. "Come on they are strong Warriors! They'll be fine!"
"You better hope you're right." Dustytail rasped.
"Of course I'm right!" She snapped at the elderly tom.
"Don't get too full of yourself.." Almondfall rumbled as she licked a paw and drew it over her ear.
Dawnreed snorted but went back to grooming her cream fur.
Whitestar padded away to go share tongues with her son and daughter, walking over with a blackbird that she had caught earlier in her jaws. Duststripe was resting with her kits. Jayfang was yawning and stretching, grooming himself as well as Mossfur. Brindlefrost was seen sharing a mouse with Redflame beside a rock in camp. Onestar padded over to his mate, Whitemane to give her a gentle lick on her cheek. "StarClan help us all, I'm starting to doubt if I can even lead WolfClan with these wolves in the forest killing us." He mewed.
"I know you're scared, but you care for the Clan. And I know you could never in moons upon moons to cone let your Clanmates down my love.." She purred. "You're right Whitemane.." He meowed, resting his head on her paws. "StarClan is with us in this time.. I know it."
