Chapter 1

Sunlight filtered down of Goldenpaw's head, making her aware of sudden dim but gray dawnlight as she opened her eyes blinking away sleep, growling annoyed.
"Goldenpaw! Goldenpaw! Wake up!" A voice meowed in her ear. The she-cat turned to see that it was Frostpaw who had been yowling.
"M! What?" She rumbled.
"You have to see this!" She meowed. "Whaaaaat?"
A moon had past ever since the battle with the wolves and they had moved back into their territory without a problem.
"You just have to!" Then came her sister Meadowpaw.
"Ok." Goldenpaw followed. All of their jaws were gaped to see the outside of their camp covered in a thick layer of white.
"Snow!" They all meowed at the same time.
"Wow!" Burnpaw beamed. Archpaw blasted past, his smooth blue gray mottled pelt making him run without slipping.
Goldenpaw was in awe.
"This is amazing.." Swiftpaw mewed, suddenly appearing at their sides.
"Let's go!"
"Now hold on." Came a voice. It was Slatetooth.
"Awwee come on! Can we go?!" Meadowpaw mewed.
"Pleeeeeease?" Swiftpaw pleaded. "It's alright with me, but be careful." Brightstripe meowed, rolling her one eye.
Goldenpaw smiled and dove into the snow.
Crimsonstar watched beside Thornfurl. The apprentices all laughed playing in the snow, pouncing and chasing each other.
Archpaw looked on into the snowy woods. He leaned into Burnpaw's ear. "Hey, let's sneak away and explore!" He whispered.
Goldenpaw looked at them. "Are you crazy?!"
"No! And what are are you, a scaredy mouse?" Archpaw taunted.
"Just because you're younger than us doesn't mean you can act like that!" Meadowpaw rumbled.
"Are you a mouse brain?" Goldenpaw smiled innocently at Archpaw.
"No!" He declared, raising his muzzle to the sky.
"Then why are you acting like it?"
"Ooooo!" Burnpaw chimed with Swiftpaw.
"I have no clue what you mean!" He meowed.
"Let's see. Sneaking off, sneaking off in leaf bare, sneaking off alone, shall I go on?" Goldenpaw purred.
The mottled younger apprentice twitched his tail.
Goldenpaw smiled.
"Come back inside! A special clan meeting is about to be in order!" Spikeflash yowled.
Goldenpaw ran her tail across Archpaw's flank padding past him. "Today is a very special day for ScarClan! Meadowpaw, Goldenpaw, and Frostpaw will be made warriors!" Crimsonstar meowed.
