"The highway is usually full of random people looking for items leftover in the trunks and glove compartments of cars." Glitch explained while she took a quick look around. "It seems to be deserted for now, but this usually is a bit dangerous to be in if you're weak, if you're strong then it's a good way to get some stuff."

I gave a worried look as we continued on. "Don't worry Jayden you're getting pretty strong." Billy reassured. "25 ATK and 13 DEF... Not too bad..."

I knew she was telling a lie, I was still incredibly weak but that won't stop be from becoming stronger... "There..." Glitch said as she pointed to a city with a few destroyed skyscrapers. Smoke was coming out of curtain areas and there were sounds of screaming and weeping near by. "I hear someone..." I said as we looked around.

"Don't be too loud, or else they'll hear us..." Billy scolded. I nodded and went on the lookout. After a while of searching I eventually found the source. It came from a young girl, she looked about 9. "Go on, Jayden! It's a free kill!" Glitch said as she shoved me toward the little girl. I got my knife out and sighed. "Sorry..." I said, as I approached the girl.

Her cries became more violent. I couldn't bring myself to end her... I sighed and put the knife away. "What are you doing?!" Billy said, angered.

"Maybe we don't have to kill people every time we see them... We could just... Give mercy every once in a while." I told them. Glitch sighed in disappointment. "You're like the other 12 who we believed were going to fulfill the prophecy..."

"Prophecy?" I said, as the girl ran away from us. "That someday an unknown person would appear from almost no where. First appearing weak, but overtime gains an out stating amount of power... Maybe enough to kill Luna." Billy explained. "The way the person uses their powers is unknown. It is said they might go around, killing everyone they see, or using their abilities for good..."

"I'm hoping you are that one and will chose wisely on what you want..." Glitch commented. I sighed, not wanting to be given such a huge decision. "I'm not sure... Let's just continue." I told them as I walked over to fire city.

"Why does this city give a much more unsettling vibe than Windy Hills?..." I asked Billy and Glitch.

"Because normal people don't usually come here, since Rebels need to get stronger to defeat the Cobras they kill whoever isn't on our side for more levels." Glitch explained. "Windy Hills is an uncharted area. Yandere City and JohnBurg are apart of Cobra Territory. The only land we claim is Fire City. Ice Village and Windy Hills are still unclaimed by anyone." 

"Actually, Billy, you have to join the rebels too, ya know?" Glitch reminded Billy. She nodded, agreeing to join us in rebelling.

We walked into a building, that was more well built than the others wasn't actually destroyed. Glitch then opened a secret door and it opened a door to a ton of people with weapons and surrounding one person. "Sis, did you find anything good?" The person in the middle asked.

"No, bu-ba. Sorry, but I did find two new members." She said, showing us off to all the members, and what I'm assuming is her brother. "I see, stats?"

"This one is 39 ATK and 62 DEF. This other one is 26 ATK and 15 DEF."

"They're so weak though..." He told her. "I don't want to train someone just to be killed on their first day."

"Look, Mauro, they both have potential, especially this one." Glitch said, directing to me. "I believe he is the one the prophecy had us all hoping would arrive."

"You've said that with 11 others and look what happened to them now..." A random rebel commented as the others rambled on along with it. "SHUT UP!" Mauro shouted. "Now. What is his name?"

"Jayden." I answered. "My name is Jayden... I just want to at least be trained by you for a while, I understand that you guys really want to defeat Luna really bad. I just want to be of assistance."

"Give him a chance Buba. You never know how good of a warrior he could be."

Mauro gave a sighed and nodded. "Come, Jayden, I'll show you around fire city. You too, Billy, I doubt you'll be any good since I remember you were the first person to be taken down in wrestling during high school."

Billy gave mauro a look, I'm assuming they were friends from the past. Mauro went toward some area and the three of us followed along.

After a while of walking aimlessly through rubble and junk we arrived at a huge building. "This is Fire City High, or what's left of it." Mauro said, showing us the old and destroyed high school. "This is where I typically train with glitch." He said while I walked a little closer to it.

"How effective is the training?" Billy asked.

"Effective enough to get you from free exp to an actual challenge." He remarked, as we walked inside. "First off we'll train on these dummies here, practice your moves and get a little creative with them."

He showed us some dummies as Billy lightly punched the dummy. "Pow." She said while giving a serious face. "Alright then, moving on?.." Mauro said. "Give it a try Jayden."

I got my kitchen knife out, and as soon as Mauro saw it he took out another weapon. "That knife and little dagger won't do you two much good." Mauro said as he was giving us two pitchforks. "I'll also give you some better armor, Jayden."

I checked my stats and I suddenly had 35 ATK and 37 DEF. I chuckled as I noticed my stats going up. "What about me?!" Billy complained. "Hey, he has like the lowest stats in the whole world. Chill please." Mauro said as he chuckled.

"Now, practice, tomorrow I'll take you two out to fight your first real Cobra members..." He told us while patting me.

"T-Tomorrow?!" I asked, worried.

"Don't be alarmed." Glitch reassured. "Just think of them as bugs, or something like that. They're equally as scared as you are."

I took a deep breath as I clenched my pitchfork. I honestly didn't want to hurt people, but if it's what I gotta do to survive then I'll do it...
