Glitch and I continued on our journey around JohnBurg... Although were missing a member, we decided to keep going. "She was a good friend of mine before this era began..." She told me as we went up the huge stairs to the town hall.

"Who? Sammy or Billy?..."

"Both of them," She replied with a sad expression. "I don't know why it came to that... Before, they even had feelings for each other."

I sighed, realizing what this made of everyone... "I'm getting a little hungry, let's try to attack others for food..." She stated. I nodded and we entered the town hall. I walked into a room, and looked at a few things.

I found a paper inside of a desk drawer. It didn't have anything important, but I kept it in my inventory. I dug around some more and found a can of beans. "This should be good." I commented.

I walked out of the room and bumped into Glitch. "Find anything?" She asked. I nodded and showed her the can of beans I found. "Great, nice work Jayden!" She said, before looking at me at a weird way.

"But... You should eat em, your health is still low, and your defense is getting weaker." She said, grabbing the can and then opening it.

"You sure?" I asked.

"Your stats are 39 ATK and 21/40 DEF..." She told me, giving me the can of beans. "It's better if you eat them instead..."

"Well, here, you can have them. I have some bandaids to heal myself with..." I told her, handing them back as I put a few bandaids on my wounds.

*Your HP was maxed out!

I put the remaining away and Glitch ate the beans, I turned to see a person stalking. But as soon as I saw them, they hid away.

"Where are you going?" Glitch asked while I went over to where I saw the person. "U-Uh..." I heard, while I walked into the room. I spotted another girl, wearing a torn-up sweater and had a wooden spear in her hands. She had brunette hair and pigtails. Her main color was green.

*Random Stranger Blocks the way!

I saw pop up. "Um... I didn't want to battle..." I told her. "I didn't either..."

"What's going on?" Glitch said as she spotted the person. The stranger grabbed her spear and threw it at me, it jabbed my abdomen area. "O-OW!" I shouted in pain as she ran off. Glitch ran after her and immediately pinned her to the ground.

"I-I'm sorry!!" She screamed in fear. "Don't kill me, please!"

I took the spear out of my abdomen and watched my health being drained. Glitch remained silent. "I hate having my good side kick in... It's what prevents be from being second in command..." Glitch said as she helped up the stranger.

"Thank you... Sorry about that, I just got really nervous and thought you two were going to kill me." She explained as I handed her the spear, with the tip covered in my blood. "No worries... I just need to..." I said, before I started to feel dizzy.

I fell on the ground, then, collapsed....

"Hello?..." I heard. "Can you hear me?..."

"Can you hear me?..."

"Hello?!"

"I think he's dying..."

"No duh..."

I opened my eyes and saw the stranger and Glitch attempting to save me. "Jayden! You're okay!" Glitch said, hugging me. When I hugged her back, she must've realized what she was doing then pushed me away. "I-I mean... You were able to handle that... Nice... Good job."

"Yeah... I... I wasn't expecting that, she seemed like she wasn't going to attack I guess that's why it ended up doing a lot more damage..." I told her. "How long was I out for anyway?"

"About an minute." The stranger told me.

"Well, with you almost killing me out of the way, what's your name?" I asked her.

"Oh... It's Annabelle, I'm already familiar with your friend here, but I never seen you around before..."

"Ah, well I'm Jayden. It's nice to meet you." I told her, sitting up.

"Hey, Annabelle, you decided who's team you wanna join yet?..." Glitch asked, whom I am assuming is British cause of her accent. "I don't know... I wanna have more protection, that's where Cobras come in... But I don't want to become one of them..."

"Why not join Rebels?" I asked her.

"It just seems you have a higher chance of being killed since you're trying to overthrow the queen... I just wanna stay alive and don't want to harm anyone..." She explained. "Even if I've already killed many..."

I checked her stats, 37 ATK and 56 DEF...

"I'm not very strong but... I always manage to get out of sticky situations. Especially with cobra members. They only think of brute strength, not on their defense or strategy... When I encounter a rebel though, they're really hard to face..." Annabelle told me while I got myself back up.

"Well, Glitch, we should move along... It's about time we find more Cobra members." I told her, she nodded as we began to walk away from the presumed Brit. "W-Wait!" I heard, we turned around and Annabelle came over to us. "I wanna know if I could join the Rebels... I realized even if you guys have lower stats than Cobras... You still have a better chance of killing them."

"I don't know, you have to truly believe in our cause..." Glitch said, squinting her eyes.

"Please!... I'll fight for you guys... I just want some hope... have protection against the others out here... People will actually fear me instead me fearing them..." Annabelle begged. "I'll do anything..."

"Fine you can join, you have to do the initiation when we get back to base."

"I promise I'll do my best!"

I smiled as I saw how much hope Annabelle was just given. For one of the first times since I got here, I saw someone smile...

"Helt!" We heard. "HoI... I em Tiu."

We turned to see a Cobra warrior, in full armor, and weapon in hand. "Tiu?..." Annabelle and Glitch said in unison. "You joined Cobras?!"

"Yse, thay previde absulet prutektion. I em a werrier fer tehm." He explained.

"What is he saying?.." I asked.

"Nao... Yuo sheal be kielled!" He swung the weapon, but he missed terribly. "Uh-o..."

I checked his stats.

*106 ATK 69 DEF
*Possibly one of the worst Cobra Members ever.

I got my pitchfork out and stabbed Tiu with it. "OW!" He shouted as Glitch and Annabelle gasped. "Jayden! Why did you do that?!" They asked as Tiu fell to the ground.

"A-Aren't I supposed to kill Cobras?!" I asked.

"Yes! But not Tiu!" They said in unison, they healed him, and then gave me a dirty look. I sighed. "Dammit..."

"Yuo r a douhce beg..." Tiu insulted. "I relly em gong tu keil u..."

I sighed, worried, as they got him up. "Sorry about that Tiu... This new guy doesn't know what he's doing..." Annabelle said as Glitch agreed.

Tiu grabbed his weapon and stormed right off.

"You idiot..." Glitch said while smacking the back of my head. "Never kill Tiu... He's the only person who's actually GOOD here."

"Yeah, which is weird since he's a clone of Tui's. The leader of Cobras..." Annabelle added.

"I didn't know that..." I told them.

"Let's just move along..."
