"Alright so that trip wasn't very successful." I said, honestly. "I didn't really gain much levels or stats."

"Hey it was our first day of training, don't take it so roughly." Glitch reassured.

We walked past a destroyed elementary school and came across a flipped over school bus. On one of the sides the letters. "Free us from this hell..." Was written in blood.

"So uh... Where's the base?" Annabelle questioned.

"Fire city."

"Ah..."

I continued to look around the area, tons of huge houses were destroyed and some were more wrecked than others. "Why don't we scavenge these houses?" I suggested.

"It's recommended we don-"Annabelle stated, looking a little hesitant, before she was cut off. "Actually." Glitch interrupted. "That sounds like an awesome idea. Maybe we'll encounter some people too, and give you the levels you need Jayden."

I nodded and grabbed my pitchfork. We entered a house and looked around. There was a lot of furniture laying around. I took a quick peak inside a room, where I found a random person. They screamed for help, but I executed them before anyone could hear. Before I knew it they turned to dust and their soul was shattered. I checked to see their fallen items.

All I found was a bandana and a stick. I sighed as i dug around the room, I just found a small container of water. I left the room as I spotted another room. I decided to check it out, but to my surprise, there was nothing. It was completely dark and I couldn't see a thing... I left the room and went upstairs to catch up with the girls. When I got up, I heard a scream. I ran to where the source was from and saw Annabelle was being attacked.

I checked the enemy.

I ran to him and stabbed his abdomen With my pitchfork, he gave a sharp cry and then got his attention toward me. He swung at me, but it only skinned my armor. I stabbed him again, he fell down on the floor. I kicked his stomach area as I stabbed him one last time.

"T-Thank you..." Annabelle thanked as the enemy was turned to dust. As my armor was being covered by his dust, I have a light nod, and turned around. "Dammit Annabelle, you fucked up." Glitch teased as she shook her head. "For shame..."

Annabelle got herself back up as I walked to the downstairs. "I think that's all this place has to offer." I told them. They agreed and we left the house.

When we left we were stopped by another man. "Halt." He stated. "I heard some funny business was going on here..."

It was some tall dude with a torn up police uniform on, and looked like he had the basic weapons of one too.

"Who are you?... Why does it matter to you?" I told him.

"Ya don't know me?" He asked. "I'm officer Joe... Back before the KoBK era I was the best cop in all the district... All of my friends are dead, but that doesn't mean the last cop in the district can't get by..."

"So there was three groups?.." I asked glitch. "I'll explain later."

"Now... Put your hands up, give me your shit, and I'll leave you be." He said as he pulled what appeared to be a loaded gun, the first one I've seen thus far. "Let's be reasonable here, sir..." I told him, slightly afraid.

"Why are you afraid of him? He's the minority here, kill him!" Glitch said as she pushed me closer to him. He got the gun ready to shoot. He shot it, but I somehow managed to dodge it. As he loaded it again I checked his stats.

He gave a very angered expression. "This one is for all the officers that have been killed..." He shot it once again, and it landed. I had the bullet driven in my shoulder. I held onto my wound as I got my pitchfork ready. I stabbed his arm as he gave a cry. "Don't fight back, you'll just extend your sentence from being robbed... To being killed..."

I stabbed him once more, and then another. "That's it!" Glitch encouraged. Joe coughed out blood as he shot my stomach area. I gave out a sharp yelp as I backed away and collapsed. "That gun does a lot of damage..." I stated weakly. I got myself back up and then took a deep breath. "You won't last long against me..." He informed me as he smirked.

"Aren't you going to do something?!" Annabelle shouted at glitch.

"Wait for it..."

He loaded his gun again as I laid on the floor. "GLITCH!"

"Wait for it!"

I felt my health slowly go down as he gave a chuckle. "Thanks for the EXP..."

"GODDAMMIT GLITCH!"

Before I knew it, Annabelle tackled Joe. "Annabelle, you dumbass!" Glitch shouted as I got myself back up, slowly. Annabelle stabbed Joe, before he pushed her off and shot her shoulder. I looked at Annabelle, and it was really effective a against her since she had pretty weak armor.

I got my pitchfork and jabbed it right into his chest area. He screamed in agony as it pierced through his skin. Glitch went to Annabelle, who was slowly dying, and I took the pitchfork off of Joe. "Well... I tried... Sorry fellas... I couldn't enforce the laws... Maybe in the new world... Policemen aren't necessary anymore..." He said as he fell on his knees.

He turned into dust, and as the dust sprinkled onto my armor, his soul was shaking violently... It was slowly cracking, he seemed to be attempting to fight it. Before my very eyes, the soul was put back together, and some dust came back to where his body was.

*but it refused...

"No... I can't give up... I must show everyone the true power of what being a police officer really is... We didn't go to camp for no reason... We didn't practice our shooting skills or nothing..." He said as he got back up, he looked a little different. "You think you killed me?... You think it's that easy?"

I backed away as he, somehow, was transforming. He was no longer wearing his uniform, his pistol turned into rifle. He was a lot bigger than he already was. "You're going to die... A harsh, painful death..."

He loaded his gun and fired away. I dodged as much as I could before I got my pitchfork once again and threw it at him. It landed directly at his heart. He collapsed on the ground, completely, before turning into dust once more. His soul, once again violently shaking, was fighting back, but over a hard fight... It shattered and broke into a million pieces.

I walked up to his weapon, which turned back into a pistol, and his bullet proof vest.

"Hey, look at you now!" Glitch praised as I was proud of what my stats have become. "Nice job." Annabelle added.

"You're getting up there, still weaker than the average Person but you'll make it!"

I smiled as I looked at my pistol. "Soon I'll be one of the best rebels..."
