"Smooth move Goddess of war and wisdom" Zachary scoffs nudging me in the shoulder as we walk past each other to swap seats.

"Shut the fuck up" I say in what I thought was a whisper... But I guess not...

"ATHENA! After-school detention for the use of profanities in class!" Mr Wallenberg turns from writing on the board with a deadly glare.

"But Sir I-"

"No excuses for such ghastly language! BE SEATED AND NO MORE INTERRUPTIONS!" His face has actually turned red. Oh my gosh.

I hear Zachary snickering quietly. I glare at him.

This is the WORST day ever!

I take my seat next to Jaden, he smirks at me when he sees my blunt and exhausted facial expression.

I feel his breath move closer to my ear "having a bad day goddess?" He chuckles quietly.

I don't even bother answering. seriously the whole class was laughing at me each time I got yelled at today. Now Jaden wants to add smart comments on top of that.

I grease him off jokingly and he smirks in return. I hate him but he's seriously so hot no matter what he does.

Finally our break!

I need to do some serious catching up with Heather and Josh about last night and the rest of the weekend.

I walk around the teen infested corridors to try and find at least one of my friends. Even Samuel,  the "golden boy", would be good. But instead I find myself running into the sex god. Of course!

It's like the universe just always seems to be bringing us together. Which is really cool in away, I mean I get to look at his amazing godly features. But it's totally going against what my brother wants.

"Hey!" we both say in unison.

"I guess I'm going to be seeing a lot of you now" Jaden smirks. Ah the freakin sexy smirk!

"Haha yeah I guess, well you've already seen the worst of me today" I say referring to English class this morning.

"I don't mind though, it's kind of cute how the Goddess of war turns all innocent when she is yelled at"

Oh my god he just called me cute! That's 'pretty' and 'cute' in the span of two days! Or hardly even. He called me pretty at midnight last night.. So technically it's a span of one day! Nice work Athena! This is almost the most I've gotten out of a guy in a such a short time frame! Samuel Johnston tops all the charts though. He is always saying how gorgeous I am and how any guy would want me... I think I'm the only girl he hasn't got with in our year level. Yeah even my bestie Heather went there long ago.

I snap out of My train of thoughts when I notice Jaden's signature smirk slowly wiping off his face, as if he just remembered something. His expression is replaced with somewhat a mixture of regret, sadness and frustration.

"Athena... I have to tell you somethi-"

But he is cut off by a screeching sound.

Oh wait that's just Davina our platinum blonde fruity queen coming to update me on the Monday goss. I guess you could call it an unfortunate weekly ritual. "Athena! OMG I was looking for you everywhere, guess what!? There's a new girl and her name is Tracey Bateman. The guys are like all over her and like she isn't even that pretty, like even you're prettier than her and I ca-" Davina stops when she sees Jaden and immediately switches to flirty mode.
