Star Wars: The Twin Wars

The Fight

The three of them all went out into the dusty street. They could see some stormtroopers down the street interrogating people. Luke, Rey, and Roni looked at each other with confused expressions. They figured that there would be more fighting than talking, but as they started to walk that soon changed.
"There they are!" yelled one of the stormtroopers, pointing in their direction. Roni didn't know if she was ready for this but she was soon to find out. The stormtroopers started to advance on them. There were blasts everywhere but none seemed to even come close to them.
Luke and Rey both have been in some battles, so they know what they are up against. Roni on the other hand hasn't even held a blaster in her life except to trade it in the shop. As the blasts came closer to them Luke would work quickly with his lightsaber, deflecting the beams back to the stormtroopers. He was pretty accurate with the deflections, and there were already half a dozen stormtroopers on the ground.
Rey has been trying to learn the ways of the force from Luke ever since she found him, so this was a great opportunity for her. As she could feel the force within herself, she was able to dodge each of the blasts. Then she would be able to get close enough to knock them out.
Every once in a while, Roni would be proud of herself that she actually hit someone. She would take about a minute to aim, and would miss 75% of the time. She tried to focus on the task at hand but she would always be reminded of Nessa alone in the shop. She knew that they shouldn't have left her alone but whats done is done. Roni grows more worried because after 15 minutes of fighting, Nessa still hasn't come to help.
The battle was short lived, and the stormtroopers started to retreat. Everyone was a bit confused as of why they left so soon, when they seemed very determined to get them. As they walked back to the shop, Roni couldn't stop talking about how cool it was to be apart of a battle. When they got to the shop, Roni ran inside to tell Nessa everything.
"Nessa you won't believe what you just missed!! We just fought..." Roni started with excitement but she suddenly stopped. "Nessa where are you?" Roni yells throughout the shop. Roni frantically looks everywhere but Nessa is not there.
Luke and Rey enter the shop hearing Roni's yells. "What's wrong?" Rey asks with concern in her voice. She then notices that Nessa's not there. "That's why they retreated!" Rey yelled. She was furious that she has lost her sister a second time.
"What does this mean?" Roni asks dreading the answer.
Luke is silent for a moment then says, "The First Order has Nessa."
