Hope

    After a few minutes of silence, Leia spoke up, "We have to keep out heads held high, there is always a chance this could go our way. I remember being told a long time ago that there was a rebel who died in battle. She was wise even in her youth. She convinced the rebels to work together to get some very important files. If it wasn't for her and the many people who sacrificed themselves that day, Darth Vader would have destroyed the rebellion many years ago. She once said that "rebellions are built on hope, and if we have no hope we have already lost." If we all hang our heads, then Snok has already won."
    Everyone lifted their heads and Rey stood up. "Let's end this once and for all." She says looking around at everyone else in the room, waiting for them to follow her. Roni and Nessa were the first ones to follow Rey, then the rest of the resistance joined.
    Leia smiled and said, "Let's get ready, we only have one shot." Everyone stands up and leaves the room leaving Leia, Rey, Roni and Nessa.
"Do you really think that we can do it?" Nessa asked hopefully.
Leia has a straight face, "I don't know, we will just have to wait and see." She turns and walks out of the room.
The girls stand there in silence for a few minutes. Roni breaks the silence, "We are going to help fight, aren't we?" The other two look over at her and nod their heads. They all walk out of the room and get outside. Everyone else was getting their ships ready for the plan, while the girls walked over to the Millennium Falcon. Leia was already over there getting the ship ready for take off.
    They all got aboard and got situated. Rey and Chewbacca went to the front of the ship to start planing out their course. Roni, Leia, and Nessa all went to the main room, in silence. Nessa went and sat on one side of the room, while Roni and Leia sat on the other. She still felt guilty about joining Ben and doesn't feel like she is apart of the group. They could feel the ship jolt as it started to take off. Rey yelling from the other room said, "I hope you're ready for this." They flew for a few more minutes then made the jump to light speed. Their ship was going ahead of the other ships in the fleet, hoping that there was no need for them.
    The room has been silent since they go onto the ship. Roni was getting nervous and the quiet wasn't helping. "Nessa, you can come over here and sit with us." Roni said with a bit of irritation in her voice.
    Nessa looked over at Roni and Leia and said, "I don't think that I can join you until I prove that I am loyal to the cause." She looked away again and put her hand over her face in frustration.
    Leia tried to help Roni out, "We don't blame you for anything that has happened. Just the fact that you are here shows us that you are loyal to the cause."
    Nessa shakes her head, "No." She pauses and looks over at the other two, "I need to prove myself, or I can't forgive myself." Nessa looks away again and the rest of the flight was quiet.
    They were all just sitting in silence the whole ride, until the lights went out. "What's going on?" Nessa asked in a panic, since she wasn't on the ship when this happened before.
    Roni looks over at Nessa, "We are one step closer to Ben." They all walk up to the front where Rey and Chewbacca are just staring out the window.
    "I hope this works." Rey said.
    Roni nods, "Me too."
    Leia puts on a brave face and says, "Let's go save the galaxy."
