(Still Kira POV)
I made it home 20 minutes later. I had to go pick out my clothes for tonight at the fair.
I hopped out of my car and ranned inside. My mother was in the living room, well one of our living areas.
"Hey" She said.
"Hey momma." I said hugging her.
"How was school?"
"It was cool. This boy asked me to go to the fair with him."
"He did?"
"Mhm."
I can tell my mom anything that's why we are so close. Ever since what happened with Trey. Plus she doesn't tell my father, because she know he'll flip.
"So you going?" She asked.
"Yes mam."
"The fair is tonight huh?"
"Yes mam."
"Oh well you need something to wear."
"Yeah. I'll just get something up out of my closet."
"No, no. You can go shopping."
"Foreal ma?"
"Yeah."
"Alright. Imma go change out of my school clothes and call Kevia." I said running out of the living room and up the stairs.
I went upstairs, changed into a pink half top with my all white shorts, and my white and pink Air Jordan 12's.
I picked up my phone and dialed Kevia's number.
*Phone rings*
"Hello." Kevia answers.
"Hey girl." I said.
"What's up?"
"Girl... I told my momma about me going to the fair with ole boy and she was like well you needa go shopping for some new clothes to wear. So she giving me money to go shopping."
"Bitch. Fuck it up."
"Right...But you wanna go with me?" I asked her putting on a necklace, some pearls, and some more jewelry.
"Bitch...now you know I wanna go."
"Alright...Be ready in about 20 minutes."
"Ight." She says hanging up.
I grabbed my purse and ranned down the stairs back to the living room.
"Alright...I put you some money on your card." My mother says to me.
"Yes. Thank you soooo much mom." I went and hugged her cause I didn't want to spend my money I have saved up.
"Your welcome baby...And Where's your sister?"
"I don't know, last time I seen her she was with Unique...Oh and she said she was going to the fair too."
"Well she should've been here to get her some money...Now you gone ahead and go get even more beautiful." My mother said and I did.
I made it to Kevia's house in about 20 minutes, like I said I was earlier. I blew the horn so she'd come out. She did, came, got in the car, and we bumped up outta there.
*40 minutes later at the mall*
We made it here 30 minutes ago and we are currently shopping in Forever 21. Even though I'm not 21 yet, hell I'm not even 19 yet.
