You woke up to the smell of food but you didn't really want to eat. You keep thinking what if you over reacted your step-dad has done worse to you but that's the first time you snapped and left, You stood up and left the room but first you folded the blanket and sat it in the corner of the bed you walked out a little scared because you know they would ask questions you made you way over to the nice dining table Jerome pulled a seat out and you sat...
"Hey Jerome thanks,"
"Your wellcome and you can call me Jay if you want," he answered
"Im sorry for calling you,"
"No its ok I'm glad you did," he smiled
"Do you want pancakes? My sister is in the kitchen just tell her,"
"Um no but some water would be nice,"
"Ok in the kitchen through that door,"
He said and smiled
You got up and walked in to the kitchen
"Hi," Jay's sister said
"Hi i'm (I'm just going to call her Paige insted of (y,n) ok cool) Paige,"
You said
"Im Haylee," she said
You got some water and sat back down with Jay
"Are you ok?"
"I-im fine I guess,"
"I hope you are ok Paige,"
You give a fake smile and take a sip of water when Jay's brother comes in.
"Good morning Paige,"
You don't say anything and he walks into the kitchen
"JAY WE ARE OUT OF MILK AND APPLE JUICE CAN YOU PLEASE GO GET SOME?" Haylee yells from the kitchen
"YEAH BUT PLEASE DONT CATCH THE KITCHEN ON FIRE!" he said back
"I'M 14 I CAN HANDLE IT...,"
"You wanna come with?" He ask you
"Ok," you reply
You two get in the truck
"Witch store are we going to?" You ask
"Wallmart I need to get a few more things for the house,"
"Ok," you say
You two get to wallmart he ask you if you can get apple juice and milk you say yes and tell him to meet you at register 6 or you will find him
He goes and gets 2 candles a soft blanket and grapes he hurrys to a check out line and gets his bags then you see him and you check out after he give you the money you two make your way back to the truck.
"What all did you get?" You Ask
"Nothing much,"
"Ok," you reply
Time skip to 2:30 (it was 12 before)
"Hey um Paige can I ask you something?" Jay says
"Ok...,"
"I think you realized this already but I like you a lot and would you go on a date with me?"
"Uh um ye-yes," you stuttered but was happy
Before dinner Jay told his mom that he was going to take Paige out to eat she told him to be back at least by midnight, you two get to the restaurant and you both take a seat you order a tea and he orders a water...while ya'll are eating he reaches for your hand you don't pull away this time he pays the check and ya'll leave and go to the park you are walking hand in hand talking
"Tell me something I didn't know about you," he says
"Um...well my birthday is in two days,"
"Really? Well happy early birthday!"
"Thank you, ok um same question,"you say
"I have had a crush on you since last year when I moved here and if that doesn't count I love twenty one pilots,"
"Haha I like twenty one pilots too,
Your hair fell down over your eyes you go to push it out of your eyes when Jay does that for you and then puts his hand gently on your cheek and he leans in half way and you go closer to him and you two kiss he wraps his arms around your waist and then pulls away and you two go back to the truck it was only 8:30 so he lays blankets in the back of the truck and pillows you to sit in the bed of the truck close together and you point out consolations in the stars he just looks at you and smiles
"You are so pretty Paige,"
"Jay you are so sweet," Paige said
"Such a shame all the things you have been through and just to think I've only seen half of the things at school,"
You don't say anything you can tell her feels sorry for you....he starts playing with your hair
"What are you doing?" You laugh
"Haha," he chuckles
"Welp let's get going,"
