You arrive at college Jay says bye and heads to the boys dorms you head to the girls dorms you walk in the door and look around and it seems someone already took the right side of the room so you sit your stuff down on the floor you hang up the twenty one pilots and falling in reverse poster Jay got you, you wonder where the other girl is you see some of her stuff a high dollar make up bag and purple and white stripped bed set you can't decide whether a preppy girl or just a simple girl trying to be cool she walked in
"Hi I'm Paige," you say expecting a response
"Oh great I get to stay with this loser," she said trying to act cool
"You could have at least told me your name first,"
"Let it be a mystery," she said pulling out her phone
You look at her phone case Raley, her name is Raley.
"Ok Raley,"
She look at the back of her phone then at you.
"Urg just shut up,"
You say nothing to this remark not wanting to cause trouble you then get a text from Jay
:"Hi I'm glad they are giving us a day to settle in and stuff, oh and got good luck with my dorm mate what about you?"
:Not so good here but I can live.
:haha well there is a nice place to get food on campus if your hungry meet me out side in 5-10 minutes.
:Ok I could really go for some kinda sandwich or something
You go out side after having a quick conversation with you dorm mate about why you where leaving and things
"Paige!" Jay yelled as you looked around for him
"Oh hi Jay," you say
"Let's go," he says with a pleasant voice
"Ok,"
(Sorry but time skip like 3 months Paige has been really depressed lately but won't talk to anyone about it)
"Hey Paige," Jay said
"H-hi," she said it a little shakey
"You doing ok?" Jay asked
"Fine,"
This answer echoed through Jay's head he knew that this fine this word the way Paige said it he knew that she was anything but fine
"I whish you would tell me what's wrong," Jay said
Paige looked away not knowing how to respond she knew she couldn't just say nothing though
"Im fine," she said again
"No...no your not I want the happy joyfull you back when you had more energy a smile at that,"
Paige ran this sentence through her head she knew that she was only hurting Jay
Next day.
Paige was walking to her next class she sees her dorm mate and her friends her friend backs up watching you your shoes where untied you didn't realize this until she stepped on them you fell and your binder was still open...you layed on the floor a sharp pain in your head you start to cry you are still laying there not ready to pick up all of your papers but you start to stand up they push you back down then walk away out of the corner of your eye you see Jay you get up and start to gather your papers he helps you once you get your papers together you walk to your English class when some people from the hallway try not to look at you some kinda look at you you sit
"Miss Paige," the teacher said
"Uh..ye-yes," you say
"You Ok you seem a little out of it," he says
"Im f-fine," you say
Time skip to end of the day you are in your dorm room...
You sit on your bed thinking of the first time you felt happy after your mom and sister died it was with Jay you stop thinking of this after Raley walks in
"Sup loser," she said
"How in the world do you have so much free time?" You ask trying to ignore the previous comment
"Well unlike you I have friends and I study at their dorms," she says
She knocks over your stuff which had your phone on top she walks out you look for your phone when you notice the screen had been broken
"Of course," you say to your self
