*Relli's POV*

"Today is the big day, y'all", C's dad said to us as he drove us to our graduation. I couldn't believe we made it. My high school career has been such a strange ride, constantly moving all around, meeting new people and then leaving them repeatedly until I came to this one. It was also here I met the one I knew I wanted. Yeah, there'd been guys that just looked too cute to be real, but nothing in the world could trump CeFaan, and he was all mine.

"I can't believe we made it this far" C whispered to me as his hand intertwined with mine. Looking at his enthusiastic expression made me beam in happiness, and I squeezed his hand slightly as I smiled back at him.

"That's okay, because we're going even farther" I said as I kissed his forehead. He smiled at me and looked back out the window as we neared our destination. Our school thought it'd be a good idea to have our graduation at a huge symphony hall this year. Before we reached the parking lot we saw the huge masses of students in caps and gowns waiting outside, and that's when it hit me. I'm actually graduating and due in college in a few months, with the love of my life.

We stepped out of the truck only to be swarmed by the entire flock of students. Everyone had eventually caught on to our relationship, though we didn't really give in to any of the weird sayings going around the school, so haters turned into admirers and watchers.

"You guys look so nice, goalsss!" One girl shouted. We laughed at how stupid she sounded seeing as everyone had on a cap and gown and walked inside. The hall was filled to the brim with parents, guardians, school staff, and a musical band not too far off in the corner.

"They really went all out for this one, didn't they?" C asked, watching all the commotion in awe. Smiling at his reaction, I took his hand in mine, causing him to look into my eyes.

"I love you."

"I love you too" was all he could get out before we were practically bumrushed by bustling students trying to figure out where to stand and who they'd walk down the aisle with. Once situated, I got ready alongside C and awaited the cue for music.

"Goodmorning everyone!" Our principal announced with an enthusiastic voice. After what seemed like an eternity of opening remarks, he readied the crowd with his welcome, and the music sounded.

Walking out was so strange. While it felt like we were graduating from high school, it also felt like I was making my way down an aisle or walking up the driveway to the house C and I would buy. Coming down the aisle hand in hand with him, I couldn't help but indulge in the visions that invaded my mind as I walked down the aisle with him. Before long, we found our seats and sat down as he continued on with his synopsis of the class body.

After a forever of listening to fake speeches from staff members and teachers and touchy feely with C, the diplomas were revealed, making all of the students sit up straight.

"Alright, we're going to start with diplomas soon, but first we need to award our lifetime achievement award to a very deserving duo of students. Despite one of them coming in from somewhere else, the application these two had into their studies and athletics has been something that is rarely seen in this day and age. With that being said, please join me in welcoming CeFaan and Relli!"

The entire student body cheered and clapped for us as I didn't even know how to move my legs anymore. C practically guided me up the steps as we walked up to receive our plaques from our principal.

Speech ! Speech ! was all I heard from the crowd before I saw C quickly refuse and begin to walk offstage. Grabbing him by the arm and stopping him, I decided now was the time.

"I'd just like to say thank you to everyone that came together to make this award possible for C and I, and I actually have something I want to ask you all". As I said this, the crowd fell silent, wonder and confusion plastered across their faces. It was when I faced CeFaan and got down on one knee that the entire crowd echoed a resounding gasp and fell dead silent once again. C's face was a mixture of surprise and unbridled joy. Taking in a deep breath, I began.

"C, this past year with you has been the best, and I couldn't ask for someone more beautiful both inside and out to spend it with. You've been that strong foundation that I've needed for my entire life, and now that I have you I don't want to ever let you go. In fact, I want to solidify the love we have for each other from here on out so everyone will know. You are my life and after today I get to do nothing but cherish it. CeFaan, will you-"

"Yes, you idiot", C said, interrupting my impromptu speech. His face was twisted into a huge smile as tears rolled down his face and his skin reddened. Taking a small step forward, he began to laugh through his tears as the entire audience exploded into cheers and congratulations. Sliding the ring onto his finger and pulling him to me, I kissed him deeply and passionately, a single kiss that signified the love I had for him and the future that we'd share together.

Pulling away from him, he still looked in shock as he turned to face the crowd applauding us and cheering our names. After re-composing ourselves, we walked back to our seats and sat back down, hand in hand. Next up was the diplomas, and it wasn't really anything special. Just the same old regular high school diplomas by alphabetical order, maybe some bright minds amongst the average majority. C went up to grab his diploma long before me, and he cheered me on as I returned from the stage. After closing remarks and the hat tosses, we stood outside with some of our teammates as we waited for CeFaan's dad.

"You two are so amazing", one said, "I'm gonna miss y'all a lot".

That was when it hit me.

All of the drama, jokes, good days, bad days, all of them were now in the past with the people we'd met. One of those things, however, would stay with me forever, and that was him.

Turning to him, I whispered in his ear, "I love you so much". Eliciting a smile, he squeezed my arm in confirmation as he looked deeply into my eyes.

"It's finally over, huh?" Collin said as he rounded the corner. C and he ran up to each other and hugged like wild dogs being reunited. Corey, however, walked up to me.

"You guys are really special to me", he began, smiling a little as he tilted his head to hide welling tears. "Without seeing how happy you two were, I don't think I would've ever found myself in that way. I'm so glad we'll be close-by so we can all stay together".

Bringing him into a hug, I agreed with him. "You're right, today marks the beginning of forever for everyone, and we're going to do just fine".

Pretty soon C's dad picked us all up and we drove away, leaving it all behind.

"Woo, aren't you guys excited to finally begin your lives?" Collin said. His energy still hadn't died down at all, and he was just brimming with happiness.

Happiness. That's what I'd be able to give to the love of my life for the rest of his life. And starting today, he'd be in my mind as my husband.

Who would've thought, I thought to myself as I looked out the window. Thanks to him, I was able to gain a friend, a lover, someone to cherish forever. I was finally able to break free from the chains of hatred that kept me within my mother's home. And now? I am all his, and he's all mine's.

The beginning of forever starts now.

This marks the end of my first full boyxboy novel, If You Only Knew. I'm currently piecing together a new one titled "Don't You Wanna Be?" and that's an entirely different storyline. For anyone who genuinely likes this storyline though, no worries, I may be releasing a sequel very soon ❤
