One Day Before The Wedding....
I woke up to the sounds of birds chirping and the soft rhythmic sounds of what seemed like snoring. Tired, I yawned as quietly as I could and began to open my eyes, expecting to be in my current room. My eyes shot open when I realized that I was in Lafayette's room, in Lafayette's bed.

"Ohhhhhhhh sh-" I began, grabbing my hair, until I realized that Lafayette was sleeping soundly beside me. Not wanting to disturb him, I mentally freaked out. "What happened last night!" I thought while trying to remember. I was about to get up and walk downstairs, when I saw my lavender dress on the floor on the other side of the room. Taking a deep breath, I reached my hand out, hoping it would magically stretch somehow, until I saw my corset and knickers also in the pile of clothes. I covered my mouth, muffling my scream, so Lafayette wouldn't wake up and freak out. Luckily, I found an extra blanket on the floor quickly snatched it up.

"Thank goodness that I attended that basic clothing class!" I muttered while tying the blanket around me, creating a makeshift dress. Being as silent as possible, I crept out of the bed and started to inch towards my clothes. I was almost there when I heard Lafayette yawn loudly, making me freeze.

"Hm, what a great morn-" he began, pausing when he witnessed me trying to grab my clothing, awkwardly holding a blanket around myself. After a few seconds of silence, he swiftly recognized the situation. "Elise. What happened last night." he asked, already knowing the answer. I didn't know what to say, so I stepped aside and revealed my clothing strewn on the floor, and his near it. "HOLY SH-" he began to scream, his words going from English to French. The words that came next I couldn't understand, but was probably the equivalent of major cursing.

Once Lafayette had calmed down, partially, I tossed him his clothes, also grabbing mine in the process. "What have we done.." I asked rhetorically, changing behind a simple changing screen.

"I don't know...but I feel like we should keep this a secret.." he answered, straightening his jacket as much as possible. Once we were both dressed, we awkwardly both tried to escape the room, only to bump into each other. "Look," he began, avoiding eye contact. "You should probably...go see Alexander now..."

Understanding what he meant, I quickly ran into my room, packed up my things and practically leaped down the stairs. "Thank you for having me over, Lafayette...." I shouted before shutting the front door behind me, rushing to the estate.

Heaving the suitcases as fast as I could manage, I arrived at the doorstep of the house in a few minutes. Not hesitating this time, I knocked furiously on the door, hoping he was home.

"Yes- Elise!" Alexander exclaimed when he saw me at the doorstep holding my luggage. "Y-you came back..." he smiled, stepping aside so I could enter the house.

"Y-yeah! I umm..changed my mind! I forgive you, and I understand, I really, really, love you, Alexander" I chattered, quickly taking my bags upstairs and running back down, hoping to seem as happy as possible.

"Are you alright, Elise?" he worried, escorting me to the couch and taking my hands. I knew I couldn't hide it from him any longer. I could already feel the guilt consuming me, so I squeezed his hand and looked him in the eye.

"I-um, Lafayette and I, well...I woke up in his bed with my clothes on the other side of the room!" I blurted out, praying that he wouldn't leave me right now. His face went stiff for a moment, but within a few moments he stood and began walking to the door. Frightened, I dashed up to him and grabbed him by his shoulders, spinning him around.

"Alexander, w-where are you going I-I'm so sorry-" I couldn't finish my sentence, knowing I was as guilty as he was from what I've done. He gently removed my hands from his shoulders, kissing my cheek, and walked out the door. Before he could leave, however, he faced me with the most angry yet determined face I had ever seen.

"I'm about to kick Lafayette's french-kissing backside." Alexander spat before racing out of the house and onto the street, screaming death threats at Lafayette. Not knowing what to do, I bounded after him, pleading him to come back. Even though he was running as fast as a thousand horses,  I somehow managed to catch up with him. It was too late, however, for when I finally caught up with him, he was already furiously banging on Lafayette's front door. "LAFAYETTE YOU FRENCH KISSING, FIANCÉ F**KER! COME OUT HERE!" he screeched.

The door swung open, Lafayette's cheerful expression making this situation way worse than it needed to be. "Ah, so I see Elise honored her morals and told you what happened last night. Let me ex-" before he could complete his sentence, Alexander swung at Lafayette, hitting him on the right of his face.

"HOW DARE YOU?!?!" Alexander bellowed,  jumping on top of Lafayette, landing multiple punches on him.

"It wasn't my fault she wasn't SATISFIED!" Lafayette sassed back, landing a solid blow on Alexander's nose. The two kept slapping and punching each other, arguing after every hit. I knew they would continue fighting for ages, screaming snarky insults at each other in between punches, so I did the only thing I could think of.

"Alexander, Lafayette..." I purred removing my shawl and tying it into a loop, slowly walking forward. Both boys held their punches to look at what I was about to do. As seductively as possible, I sauntered over to where the boys were lying, their eyes following my every move. "Why don't we all," I began whispering to both of them while caressing their faces. I could see Lafayette's and Alexander's slowly beginning to give into my touch. I leaned in close to both of the boys before grabbing my shawl and looping it around both of their necks while pulling it, temporarily choking them. "Stop this nonsense immediately!" I threatened, yanking on the shawl.

Immediately, both boys nodded, slowly turning blue. Satisfied, I removed the shawl from around their necks and watched as they both gasped for air. Once they had caught their breaths, the two began to stare each other down, sending flaming daggers in the other person's direction. I rapidly stood between the two in case things became hostile once again.

"Look, I know this is a bad situation, and things have been upside down, but hear me out." I pleaded, facing Alexander first. "Alexander, I know this might be difficult, but I am truly sorry. I love you, Alexander, and I forgive you..." I confessed, then turning to Lafayette. "Lafayette, you are so kind and nice, and a bit overprotective. I truly do thank you for allowing me to think things over here. I really do hope we both understand what happened last night...we should probably just forget all about it," I proposed, squeezing his hand. Understanding, Lafayette returned my squeeze and shared a quick goodbye before closing the door to his house, leaving Alexander and I outside.

"Still mad at Mr. Frenchy.." Alexander muttered, kicking Lafayette's front door before turning back to me. "Elise, we've both done wrong, especially me. I know this is a difficult task, but will you forgive me?" he repeated, taking my hands. There was only one answer for this, and I had already decided a long time ago.

Smiling, I grasped his hands and sang, "Forget all our past mistakes, it's new chapter of our lives," Alexander and I smiled sweetly at each other before walking hand in hand back to our abode, ready to start a new life together.
