Chapter 31

Four muscular men was in front of me. The first one I recognized immediately, it was the sphinx I got in the third preliminary trial but his wings and his lion half was not in sight. He was like an ordinary human.

The second one, I also recognized. The trident guy who saved me underwater from the Bondage Red Octopus. But right now, he was inside an oyster shell still holding his golden trident.

The third man has six wings. An angel with a spear. His curly blonde hair was glowing and his armor too. I don't know who he is but he seems familiar.

The last one is quite familiar but I don't know where I've seen him. He is wearing a green armor with tree designs. He's holding a shield with thorny vines on the edges while his sword is sheathed on his waist.

They surrounded me facing the officials as if protecting me from them. Vines crawled over to me to protect me and positioned themselves in an attacking stance like snakes. The students were evacuated, a great battle might happen and they can't risk getting the students injured.

The trident guy pointed his weapon in the skies and storm clouds started to gather followed by rain pouring.

The sphinx guy still have his grinning face, his eyes full of humor.

The angel and the green armored man looks serious.

We were clearly outnumbered but I can feel that these men who's protecting me are powerful than the officials. The snake vines started to attack and disabled a few officials by tying. Some vines was easily cut but these vines are indestructible. When one dies two comes, it won't die completely

The angel was too fast and it also gives buffs which helped us. He also has healing properties so I was healed instantly.

Lightning would strike the opponents whenever trident guy wave his hands.

People would go unconscious with a smirk of sphinx guy.

Whenever they attacked us, the oyster shell would shield us. A scratch can't be seen on the shell. After a few minutes, a lot of them was already unconscious while ours still have full energy.

"Attack." The king shouted but the royal advisor said something to him. He calmed himself and cancelled the order.

"Let's talk." The king said to me.

"You can't" the green armored man replied before I can say something.

The royal adviser said something that surprised me. "So it was true. They said that beasts can assume human form if they achieve a certain level. A Nephilim and a Shell Sea King. Two of the most powerful beasts in the world. How about you two? Show us your true identities." He pointed to sphinx guy and green armored man.

He was referring to trident guy as a Shell Sea King and Nephilim on the angel.

"Its none of your business." The green armored man replied.

"Why is if that you want to protect him? What did he do that he deserves protection?"

"It's for us to know and for you to find out." The sphinx said playfully.

The royal adviser was trying to be patient but you can tell he's at his limits. The king on the other hand was gritting his teeth. His forehead was full of veins as if it's about to pop. The others merely watched and waited for the signal to attack.

"You're lucky Sky doesn't want to kill people. If he wanted to, you would have already been mourned by the people." The green armored guy said.

The Nephilim walked over to me and carried me. "You can't have him." The king protested.

"Attack." The king shouted, with no hesitations the others followed but the Nephilim already flew away with me in his arms. The others with flying abilities followed us but the angel was far too fast.

"What about the others?" I asked worriedly.

"Don't worry. You should sleep." He said assuring me.

The three beasts was just standing still not doing anything. When an attack was going to hit them, they just vanished and was nowhere to be found.
