Chapter 3

"Annabeth!" He yelled as he walked into the apartment with food.
"WHAT" she yelled back.
"I have food" they sat down and ate the burgers and fries.
"Oh and I'm moving out on Sunday," he joked.
"And why is that?" she asked with a smile.
"Because of this," he gave her the paper showing how much money he would make.
Her eyes widened "I can tell you're joking about moving but you could if you wanted to " Annabeth said.
"Yup, what high school did you go to?" he asked randomly.
"Goode in New York" Annabeth answered
"Same and we have the same friends they always talk about a smart girl with blond hair" he said.
"Who?" She asked squinting.
"Jason and Thalia Grace ,Nico Di Angelo,Piper Mcl-"
"Ok I get the point so what does that have to do with you with the massive amounts of money you're getting paid ?" she asks.
"Well they're going to the same school so I can have them move into here"
"Sure just as along as you don't invite Piper and Jason"
They change rooms and go to the bed room.
"Why not, Jason and Piper are my peoples"
"Just not Piper and Jason"
"I notice you say Piper first, maybe you have a crush and you're afraid Piper will tell."
That's exactly what she is scared of but she is not about to tell Percy that.
"Maybe" what are you doing Annabeth Chase she thought.
"You know you could always tell me Wise girl" he said jumping and sprawling out on his bed "I wouldn't tell"
"I....I prefer not to say"
"Whatever Wise Girl I'll find the master key so you can't lock yourself off anymore good night"
"Good night Kelp Head," she said and turned off the lights.

Percy's POV
Haha sorry Annabeth but I already called our friends and told them to come at 5 so your gonna get an early wake up I need to buy some stuff.

Annabeth's POV
"Wake up"
"Percy it's early go back to sleep or something" she said waving off the earlier voice
"Earth to Annie" the voice said
Only one person calls her Annie it's.....it's
"Luke" she bolted upright and hit Luke who was hanging over her.
"Owwwwwww why did you do that!" Luke yelled
"Owwwwwww what do you mean you were hovering over me" she yelled back rubbing her forehead.
She looked around to see all their friends from Jason to Zöe.
She got out of her bed and asked Jason "Where is Percy"
"He went to get some stuff."
"Ok." Leo and Luke had started to play Mario Kart but it look like Leo had rigged the game so Luke couldn't move, then she heard a knock at the door she opened it and saw Percy holding a box with a tv in it, 3 bags from the supermarket, and lots of Chinese food, she let him put down everything before she said anything, he even got in some words first as he pulled something out.
"Look I got your ice cream!" he said as he produced two containers of the coffee ice cream.
"I told you don't invite those two," she scream whispered.
"Ah the thing is," he said rubbing his head "I bought them all tickets the second I found out how much I made, they were already on the plane before we had that conversation." Annabeth started to calm down, understanding nothing could've been done, still mad but understanding. She was about respond to him, when Leo came over and put his arm around both of them and said, "What are you two chatting about over here? Lets. Get. Wasted." Leo said as he pulled a liter bottle of cream soda, a gallon of Hennessy and whipped cream Pinnacle out the bags. He went and got a large bowl from the kitchen and drained the bottles into the bowl, he went back and got a ladle from the kitchen, Percy tossed him a stack of red cups.
"Well you two seem like you've done this before." Jason remarked sarcastically. "And you sound like you missed out on the first time," Leo laughed. "Well I guess Zöe isn't having fun tonight, no underage drinking here," Nico joked. "Child, I've been drinking before you were born, I'll out drink you any century," Zoe came back.
"Challenge accepted, you sound like you're already drunk though." They each got a cup filled it up and drunk.
"Look let's talk more about this later, just try to avoid Piper for now and have a good time," Percy said and Annabeth nodded in response.

  
Percy was four cups in and little did everyone know he still had more bottles, he doesn't think they were ready for them though.
   Luke was sitting in a corner slumped on the floor, knocked out. Annabeth was just laying on the couch silent and Percy had a feeling she was trying really hard not to throw up.

Jason and Piper were nowhere to be seen, but he had a feeling he knew what they were doing. Leo was stumbling(he guessed it was supposed to be dancing) about with Calypso on his back singing 'Hold Up' but only Queen's part and Calypso was asleep.

Thalia was laying next to the couch with a still full cup in her hand and a cup with ice cream in the other, she went back and fort between them, interesting. Frank and Hazel were in a literal pile on the floor. Nico and Zoe where..., wait where were Nico and Zoe. Whatever, they were probably blackout drunk from their little competition.

Percy noticed he had been sitting down for way too long and he got up from his spot on the floor in the living room to go use the bathroom. Piper and Jason were cuddled up on Percy's bed, passing them on his way to the bathroom and he opened the door to see Nico and Zoe making out like they hated each. Nico was sitting on the toilet with Zoe on his lap, Percy felt like he'd interrupted something important, so before they noticed he slowly closed the door and made his way to the kitchen and sat down at the coffee colored table. Thalia had moved there since he left, she had a tray of brownies that he hadn't seen before, four were already gone.

"You want one?" Thalia asked following his gaze. Percy had already eaten a whole container of pork fried rice himself and a tray of wings, but that had been like an hour ago and he couldn't deny free food. Percy nodded.
"Alright but only eat half," that sounded like a disappointing way to eat a brownie, she couldn't be telling him that for no reason so he listened, it tasted kind of earthy but good.

  He got up and went to go sit on the couch with Annabeth, she was taking up the whole couch so he put her legs on his lap and laid back. He heard something but he wasn't sure where it was coming from and it got louder. He looked over to see Annabeth whispering to him"Percy," there wasn't anyone to overhear her though so he didn't get why she was doing that.

"What's wrong wise girl?" Percy asked.
"I had three of the brownies," she said still whispering.
"So what? They're just brownies," Percy was genuinely confused.
"Nooo Percy, they're not, they're edibles." Annabeth whispered.
"Ok, all food is edible," Percy said dumbly.
"Just think we're in California," she said softly. The gears in his head finally started turning,"Ohh, they have weed in them don't they."
"Yes," she muttered, Percy noticed that his mouth was dry, everything felt good and it took a lot of effort to move.
"Sheesh three, are you okay?"
"Just come over here," she said finally at normal volume.
  Percy got up to turn off the lights then went back and slid next to her on the couch, he felt Annabeth curl up next to him, she took his hand and put it in her shirt, they said goodnight to each other and dozed of right there, before they did anything they might have to reflect on later.
