And she'll dance.
She knows how to fly
She'll
Take off
You won't see her again
But that's okay.
You wouldn't want someone with pigeon arms anyways
No matter their face.
But I,
I can't dance
I can't take off and fly
I can't follow her
You're no more skilled than I
But you hold my hands and
Guide me.
And she's laying in a blossom
She's resting from her fall
It happened and I decided to rise.
I still don't know her
But I can dance
You have to pin me down
Hold me down
Or I'll float away
Fly away
On pigeon arms
And I know you wouldn't follow
So why do I pursue?
You were selective anyways
I believe I remember right,
And so I struggled.
I gave you a warning before I
Sprouted feathers to join her.
And you merely loosened my chains
Your eyes were they on another?
And so, maddened
I really at first
Had no intention to leave
But your attention
You merely blinked at me
If you spoke at all.
And I
I yelled
I screamed
I'm only semi-ashamed
And I flew.
Oh, I flew.
There's still marks from the chains.
I'm still burdened
By the scar we share.
It reminds me of you.
I still remember what I thought.
I thought we were soul mates.
Now I've joined her
And I'll
I already have
I hide my scar
I hide the line so old
I can't remember where it came from.
You know how you got yours
Maybe that's what set us apart.
Dead of the night
I try to see it
In the darkness.
I can hardly see it in light.
It was fading
It didn't know it represented
It represented you.
I bare it forever
I can't remember your face
I won't forget you.
Just let me fly away.--------
So I kinda got sidetracked while writing this. No judge, please.
