"Who are you?", Skylar Garcia asked right away. Lex's classmates all leaned towards her, anxious for her answer. "Well who wants to know?" Lex responded with full sassy-ness. "Everyone wants to know.", Skylar said, gesturing to the class. They all were died focused on her. They wanted to know who this mysterious stranger was so they could quench their curiosity and move on with their lives. Lex noticed this and decided to make them wait for that answer. "Helloooo." Skylar said annoyed. "Oh, was this conversation still going?" Lex said not really paying attention to Skylar. Right when Skylar was about to fire back, Mr. Bayer finally reentered the room. "Ok ok class, settle down and let's get on with today's lesson.". The class went back to normal but they couldn't help but glance at the person sitting in Lex's chair from time to time.
The rest of the day was pretty normal until Lex got home. Like a few days before right when she walked in Caroline was standing right there, a few feet from the door, waiting for her. Jus like the other day. The only thing that made this time different was that her father, Adrian, wasn't waiting with her. Caroline didn't look happy. Lex hadn't even stepped through the door when her mom started "The Mom Thing". "Your teacher called me again today, he said that he is worried about you. ". Lex was already a few steps from her bedroom when Caroline noticed her clothes. "Where did you get those clothes?", she asked. "Doesn't matter. " Lex replied as she entered the privacy of her room, closing the door behind her. Leaving her mother once again in the living room with the shock of Lex's reply.
Lex woke up the next morning same as always, alone in her big empty house. Lex swung her legs across the bed and on to the floor. She stood up and headed for her closet. She opened the big doors and searched threw her closet for something to wear. Usually she would grab a sweater and some jeans, but today, today was different. She felt like wearing something else, something more confident looking. She spotted a plain black dress at the back of here closet. It wasn't exactly what Lex was looking for but she had some time before she had to leave so she decided to "fix " it. She grabbed her favorite pair of scissors along with some needle and thread. It didn't look bad, the dress she was wearing. It didn't look anything like the dresses she'd wear, if she wore any, but it looked stunning. She decided to walk to school.
When she walked through the doors of Merston Manor high she didn't look the way she did at home. She wore a big, blood red trench coat and her favorite grey high tops. The bell rang. The halls were bustling with bodies moving up and down the halls. She walked to Mr. Bayer's room and sat down. Most of her class was already there. She took off her trench coat to reveal what was underneath. What used to be a boring, black dress was now a stunning black dress with cuts that toke in at her upper waist. It also had some thin silver chains hanging from the top cuts of her waist and went down to her hips past the lower cuts at her waist.
