Chapter 6

School was finally over, I could finally go home and just chill with out teachers all over my back 24/7.

I walked towards the gates to leave school grounds. I realised that Talia had gone home early cause she had an accident in art so I had no way of getting home.

I called mila to see if she would be able to pick me up.

'Hey, sorry I can't reach your call I'm kinda busyyy call me back, bye.'

Great. She's probably at the whole rehearsal thing. Fun.

Guess I'm walking home today...
Yay my fav.

I proceeded walking. I'm pretty sure that because it was only a 7 minute drive it should only be a 15 minute walk.

As I proceeded walking I dug into my handbag to find my headphones and plugged them in. I put my playlist on shuffle and started walking.

I remembered my way pretty well and it worse came to worse and I got lost I could always just use my maps on my phone.

"Valerie?"
A familiar voice said from behind. I turned around to see Cole in his car driving slowly to be in line with me.

"Oh hey"
I replied taking my head phones out and shoving them in my bag so I didn't seem rude.

"Why are you walking?" Cole asked.

"Oh you know, Prince Charming was running a little late" I joked as I shrugged my shoulders.

"Would Prince Charming be me?" He replied cockily.

I looked at him and raised my eyebrow to see he had a giant cocky grin plastered on his face.

"You wish" I replied shaking my head.

"Come on let me give you a ride, walking is pretty dangerous especially in a place you've never been before" he said while pulling over.

"No matter how many times I say no your not gonna give up are you?" I said stopping in my tracks to look at him.

"You know it, now are you getting in or am I gonna have to pick you up and put you in myself" he said while reaching over to open the door for me.

I walked over to the car and put my bag at my feet.

"So where to val" he questioned resting his hand on the steering wheel while looking me in the eyes.

"I'll give you directions as we go" I smiled.

We reached home shorty later after and I could see Mila's car wasn't there, so I was right, she is at her rehearsal thing.

"No ones home" Cole said raising his eyebrows.

"I figured" I said giving him a duh look.

"Do you want to, come in?" I asked.

"Yea alright" Cole said while turning the car off.

We both got out and walked inside, we chucked our bags on the table and walked to the kitchen to get something to drink.

"Nice house you got" Cole said looking around.

"Thanks" I smiled while turning around holding two cups of water.

"Here" I said handing him his cup off water.

"Thanks" he replied before drinking his water.

"So what do you plan on doing" He asked while taking his empty cup and putting it in the sink.

"We could always go for a swim I guess, I could find you some shorts to wear?" I asked.

Cole smiled at that and nodded his head like a little kid. I walked upstairs to my room with Cole following me. I got out my favourite pair of bikinis.

"Just sit on my bed I'm gonna quickly get dressed" I said while walking into my bathroom.

After getting changed I walked out to see that Cole wasn't sitting on my bed like I told him too.

I figured he must have found shorts and already be in the pool. I walked out my room and down the stairs.

As I opened the sliding door to out side I noticed that the pool cover was already off and there were a couple of noddles in the pool already.

I walked out to the edge of the pool to see if Cole was under the water trying to scare me but he wasn't.

Before I knew it I was pushed into the water. The water wasn't warm but then again it wasn't cold. As I rose from the water I saw a very pleased Cole standing over me.

"Thanks for testing if the water was a good temperature" he grinned while standing on the edge looking overly cocky.

"Can you help me out" I said extending my arm for him to help me out.

"How dumb do you think I am? I know that your just going to try pull me in" he said crossing his arms and shaking his head.

"Pretty dumb" I replied before talia had ran up behind him and pushed him in.

Talia was hysterically laughing while cole stood in the pool with a very aggravated look on his face.

"Your gonna pay for that" cole said while pointing and talia and laughing.

"Oh yea, and how so" she replied crossing her arms.

"Well a certain Clyde sounds like a good revenge plot" he said raising his eyebrow.

Talia face immediately dropped and she looked very upset.

"I uh. I should get going now" she said scratching the back of her neck.

"Umm I'll see you tomorrow Valerie"

"You sure? What's wrong?" I asked confused.

"Nothing. I just. Uhh. Should get going" she said before walking off.

I looked at Cole who had a pleasing grin plastered on his face. While I stood there so confused not knowing what the actual hell is going on.

"Who's Clyde?" I asked.

"And that my friend is another story for another day" he replied while splashing me.

I can not express how sorry I am for this delayed update. My phone got reset and I only just re downloaded the app. My apologies but I will try update as often as I can x
