Annabelle began to walk me towards the nearest door; Golden double doors carved with the same three symbols on everyone's shirts. There were three other doors, each one with their own symbol.

"You must be hungry," Annabelle murmured to me, leading me down a wide hallway. "I'll take you to the cafeteria, there should probably be some bacon and eggs for you in there."

As she lead me down the hallway, it only got more narrow. Frames and pictures began to cover the walls. Silver plaques were labeled underneath all the portraits. Names of people I did not know. James Boudreaux, Angelina Revesque, Sarah Paine, etc. Though I did reach one name I knew. A plaque labeled Madaline Easton. Her hair went up to her shounders and was a golden brown, hazel glimmering eyes, and a faint smile. But I knew that smile wasn't real. Her eyes were filled with sorrow, worry lines underneath.

I continued to walk.

Reaching the end of the hallway, Annabelle burst through the doors, opening up to a room filled with round cafeteria tables. The smell of delicious food fills my nostrils, I couldn't resist. I quickly paced to the line, grabbing a plate and filling it with eggs, bacon, and sausages. I quickly sat down in an empty table, surprisingly, with Annabelle at my heels.

We ate in silence for a few minutes.

"I will give you a tour of the headquarters when we finish eating. Then I'll give you your room, and you're free to explore!" Annabelle explains.

I finish eating, tossing the paper plate in the garbage. Annabelle leads me away from the cafeteria. "You see," she explains, "The entrance-- that place the ladder lead down to, that's the center of the entire headquarters. The doors we went through to get to the cafeteria is where we can also get to the libraries, training centers, offices, amphitheater, you know. The basics; open to the entire group. Then there were the three other doors. Remember those?"

I nodded.

"Good. Those lead to the rooms. Along with some other stuff. Well anyways, we are separated into three different sectors. The Letalis, the symbol of the flaming skull, The Vivam, the symbol with the leaf, and The Statarius, the balance symbol. These three sectors all work together, but The Letalis and Vivam are very opposite. Think of Statarius as in the middle. Now, they all have different tasks. The Letalis are practically our defense line; Our best fighters. The Vivam are the peaceful ones, but they are the intelligent ones. They are logical and make the accurate decisions. And lastly, there is the Statarius. Very rare. I think there are only two people in that sector. They can fight and are quite intelligent as well."

"Which one are you in?" I ask her.

"Letalis. So is Ethan. But Aaron is in Vivam." I nod.

After shows me the tour, she shows me a room, near the cafeteria. "Your training starts tomorrow. First you'll be stuck into a classroom for about two to three hours, and then you'll be put into the training rooms. After a few days, you will be placed in the sector that you'll fit into the best." She gives me a smile and leaves. I sigh, noticing my bags were placed in the room already. I decide to walk to the amphitheater.

I stroll into the room, noticing two people sitting on the edge of the stage. One was a girl, ginger curly hair and thin lips, with brown eyes. The other was a boy, with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes, as if they were the clashing sea. The girl was about to leave as I was approaching the seats. The boy gave her a smile, but I knew it was a fake one. She apparently believed it, giving him back a wide smile and a kiss on the cheek. "Bye Carter!" She said in a high pitched voice. "Bye, Katie." She soon left. Once he heard the door shut, his smile quickly faded as he wiped the cheek she kissed. Quickly, I opened the door again, and shut it, as if I were to just walk in. I didn't want to seem as if I was eavesdropping.

His posture straightened and a smile quickly appeared on his face. When he saw me, his smile fainted only a little. "I thought you were someone else." He murmured. I smiled slightly, since I had nothing to say to this stranger. His eyebrows squared firmly, "I'm Carter Boudreaux." I gave him a nod. "Alana Easton."

"Easton? That odd lady that fell in love with the Grim Reaper? Ha, what kind of idiot would fall in love with--"

"Did you call my ancestor an idiot...?" I snap, my expression hardening. "I might have not known her, but she is-- was my family." My shoulders square to him.

"Whatever." He says, rolling his eyes. A flare of anger burns through me. I slap him with a sudden movement. His expression suddenly turns cold, yet hurt as he rubbed his cheek. "Don't insult my ancestors." I snap, leaving the amphitheater.
