It was 6:42PM. I had about eighteen minutes until I could go to the arena, at exactly 7:00PM through the initiate entrance. Since I had nothing else to do, I began to walk down the halls to the initiate entrance of the arena.

I wonder who this Professor Connell guy is. The leader of all three sectors? That was my guess. Besides, he has 'Professor' in his name.

I sat down against the wall next to the door, a few others approaching and sitting some place near the doors.

Soon enough, Randy had appeared two minutes before 7. "Alright, listen." He called out, hushing their voices, and leaving a grave silence. Others were scared of him. "This is your final test. Of course you're going to finish your intellectual test out here, but after that, you'll all compete against each other on physical challenges."

We could hear the crowd inside. Screaming, roaring, cheering. They began to count down. "10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5!" We all stood to face the door. "4! 3! 2! 1!" The initiates burst through the door, the crowds cheers growing to a fortissimo. I wince at the blinding lights, and my vision focuses.

The crowd surrounded us with bleachers on all sides, a large playing area in the center. All thirteen of us stepped onto different sections on the floor. "Welcome!" I looked up ahead, to see three people sitting in a balcony. "I am Professor Connell, leader of the Statarius sector." The woman beside him stood with perfect posture, her look sophisticated. "I am Doctor Renolds, leader of the Vivam sector." And finally, the man on the right of Connell stood. He wore a Laker's cap and dressed as if he were in the army. "I'm General Tompson, leader of the Letalis sector." Professor Connell stepped forward. "Doctor Renolds and I have received half of the results of your intellectual test already," I could see Doctor Renold's eyes on me. "And we all will observe the rest of your intellectual challenge, along with your physical challenges."

We began to be seperated, glass walls separating one person from the other.

"Begin!"
