Melody's POV

Same as last time

I gasped as the cold blade sunk into my chest. I staggered and fell backwards. Everything got freezing cold and all I saw was white.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I woke up lying on the ground. Wait, I'm supposed to be dead. How can I wake up if I'm dead? I stood up slowly, wondering what was going on. I looked down and saw that I was wearing a purple tunic with gold thread sewn into the fabric. My ratty brown boots were replaced with new black ones, and I was armed head to toe with a bow, daggers, and the sword I died with. " Wha-" I began to ask. I was cut off by a voice like music. " Don't fret, child. Or, should I say, Hero. " I was getting nervous. I was no hero. They should know that, I'm just a lonely girl that is trained in almost every type of weapon imaginable. What can I say, I get bored easily. " I- I'm no hero, " I said nervously. I gasped as a ghostly figure appeared in front of me. " You are wrong, you have no idea." She said, and I knew she was the one that told me to trust her. "Then explain it, " I challenged,putting my hands on my hips. She sighed and began. " This began long ago. Long before you were born. When Hyrule was first created, there were actually four goddesses,the legends forgot me. I created death. I believe they left me out on purpose but the others beg to differ. The goddesses allowed me my own piece of the triforce, making it a tetraforce. When the tetraforce was broken, my piece was lost. It has reappeared now, and because of your bravery and past, it chose you to hold its power. " she finished and I stood there, letting the information I just learned sink in. I was a hero, then. " Oh, I almost forgot,you had to die, so you could receive your powers." she said. Almost as soon as she said that, a white light surrounded me and I rose into the air.
