Temple of Din

I heard Melody walk over to a rock and start sobbing. I instantly felt guilty. She didn't have to tell me. Well, not right away, anyway. I waited until the sobs stopped and I heard a soft snoring coming from Melody. I walked over to her sleeping form quietly, draping a blanket over her body. I sighed as I remembered the small girl that came to Kokiri forest, alone and seriously injured. Saria and I helped her get better. We were the same age, and we were both orphans. Something clicked inside of me when she showed up. I couldn't explain it then but, but maybe I can soon.

I woke up the next morning with a blanket draped over me. It smelled like Link, kind of piney. Then I noticed that there was an arm wrapped around my midsection. Following the arm, I found it was connected to.......Link. A blush spread across my face like wildfire as I tried to slide out from under his heavy arm. Then I remembered his sleeping problem. He was very hard to wake up. I rolled out from under his arm and he groaned. I giggled as he started cuddling with my blanket. I walked over to the huge door sealing the entrance to the temple shut. Placing my triforce marked hand on the door, it creaked open, revealing another door and waking Link up. He blushed as he realized that he was cuddling with my blanket. "Hey, Mel, I'm sorry about last night, it's not my place to interrogate you about that. " he walked over to me. I sighed, running a hand over my face. " No, its- you do have every right to know." So I told him everything, leaving nothing out. He enveloped me in a hug.After I finished, I was crying into his tunic for a good half an hour.
