Melody's POV

My head was pounding as I regained conciousness. Link was pacing in front of me, still a wolf. I stood up and went to ask him something. I received a big surprise when I only rose 3 feet off the ground. Look who's awake! he said. What happened? I asked, dreading the answer. Ivi got controlled by Veran and Veran used Ivi's powers to turn the Light world into the Twilight Realm. You were transformed into a wolf because you hold a piece of the triforce. A female voice explained. Nychta?! I ran in a circle looking for the goddess. Link looked confused. She appeared and I bowed- as much as a dog can bow. She laughed.Rise, hero. she said softly. I stood up and walked over to Link. How do we defeat this Veran girl? Link asked. Nychta sighed and sat by the stream. We followed her and sat one on each side of her. I looked at my reflection. I had been transformed into a black wolf with bright blue eyes and purple tinges in my fur. I do not know how to defeat Veran, sadly. But, I do know this : if you find her and try to defeat her with force alone, she will possess a body and allow the possessed person to die. Nychta sighed. If you wish to defeat her, find the three goddesses of legend and ask for help. I must leave, but these are for you. She tied some grass around our necks and we somehow turned back to normal .She handed me a harp and Link an ocarina. Goodbye, heroes, and good luck,she said as she disappeared. "How do we find the three goddesses? " Link asked me. I shrugged and thought about the legends my father had told me.

Father walked into my bedroom to say goodnight as he came home from the castle. " Hey Mel, which story would you like to hear. The triforce one again? " he asked. I nodded eagerly and he began. ' There are three great goddesses, each with her own species, domain, and piece of the triforce. Din, goddess of power, has the sky as her domain and the gorons as her people. Nayru, goddess of wisdom, has the sea as her domain and the zoras as her people. Farore, goddess of courage, has the forest as her domain and the kokiri as her people.' he started to tell the story, but was interrupted by a pounding on the door. A burly man made his way into my room and whispered something in my fathers ear. " Mel, I'm sorry, I have to go to work. Goodnight, sweetheart. " he kissed my forehead and left.
