~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Demi's POV
I laid curled up with him in the hotel room bed as I doodled on his arm as he held me close to him. I don't want to leave him and I've been thinking about something, but I have no idea what to do.
I sighed softly as I continued doodling on his arm as I leaned my head on his shoulder.
I guess he heard my sigh as I felt his arm move from my hand and his callused hand pull my chin up so he could look at him as he gave me a look.
“It's nothing... I was just thinking again..” I mumbled, moving my chin away from his hand as I leaned my forehead against his clothed chest.
He didn't need to know all the small details about me leaving, it was none of his business.
Although he was my boyfriend.
I leaned closer, burying my face in his chest as I felt him tighten his grip on my body as I gripped his t-shirt in my fists.
After a couple minutes of tense silence, he spoke up after pressing a soft kiss on my forehead.
“You know, you can talk to me, right?” He mumbled, rubbing my arm as he kept me close as I gulped.
“I know, I just don't know how to explain what's going through my head. I don't want to leave you and I guess the reason why I keep pushing Selena to pack is out of my fear..” I mumbled, shaking my head as I buried my face in his chest again, sniffling softly.
“You know, you don't have to go home.... You shouldn't have to go home if you don't want to go home. You're old enough to make your own choices..” He mumbled, rubbing my back
I pulled away from his chest, looking at him as I shook my head.
“I can't just not go home. I have to go to school in the next month and I have to get ready to go and all that stuff. You know what it all consists of. You have to go through that too..” I mumbled, giving him a look as he gave me a look in response.
“No, you don't have to leave. The college you were going to go to isn't the only college in the world, you know..” He mumbled, giving me a look as I raised my eyebrow.
I thought it through, still having some trouble putting the thoughts together as I shook my head.
I couldn't leave Selena to go back to Oregon by herself and go to the University she really wanted to go to. That's the last thing I could do.
I sighed, thinking it through as I thought about the area.
Well, I've spent the night in his dorm room a couple times and things have changed for the better while I stayed here as I gulped.
“I couldn't just not go home, Joe. That's the last thing I could do right now. I have to go back. Selena can't travel by herself..” I mumbled as he cupped my chin again, looking at me.
“What do you mean? Demi, Selena is 18 now. She can travel by herself, she probably won't have a problem with you staying here instead of leaving and going back home. If anything, we can talk to your parents back in Oregon and you can stay here with me.” He mumbled, rubbing my back as I shook my head.
“No, Selena is the only thing I really have here from Oregon. I am the only thing she would know at University if she went to the one we would originally be going to..” I mumbled, shaking my head as I sighed.
“Are you sure Selena wouldn't want to stay here?” He asked, looking at me as I shook my head.
“No, she's wanted to go to the school she got accepted to for the past five years and she won't allow a boy to get in the way of that. Even a boy that loves her for her..” I mumbled, thinking about my best friend.
