Chapter 8

I giggled softly, shaking my head, holding my soda in my hand as I walked down the street with Joe as he said he would walk me back. As we walked, he pointed out little things that probably wouldn't really matter, making little jokes as I shook my head.

“Seriously?” I asked, slightly surprised as he nodded.

“Its really interesting..” He said, mock enthusiasm as I giggled, nodding.

“Right..” I said, looking around our surroundings as my brow furrowed when I didn't recognize any buildings over here. “Where are we?”

I heard him chuckle as he placed his hands on either of my shoulders, turning me in a different direction, pointing to the building.

“Thats it, right?” He mumbled, his head next to my ear as I raised my eyebrow.

“Really?” I asked, looking at the crossroads as I bit my cheek. “How did you do that?” I asked, turning around to look at him.

“Its my majestic qualities..” He said, flashing his crazy white teeth as I laughed, shaking my head. “No, seriously though.. Let me know when you want to take off and do some sightseeing..” He said, nodding as I nodded too.

“Okay.. I'm going to need to contact you for that..” I said as he nodded.

“Oh, yeah... Right..” He said, reaching into his back pocket, holding out his phone. I opened a new contact, putting my number in and handing it back to him.

“I will see you around?” I said, motioning towards the building as he nodded.

“Of course.. I'll text you in a minute so you have my number..” He said as I nodded.

“Okay... Good night, joe.” I said, smiling as I walked to the hotel lobby door. He nodded, waving as I walked into the hotel lobby, walking to the elevator. I shook my head at the thought as I walked into the elevator when the doors opened, closing after someone got off. I didn't see who, but, I was more focused on getting to my room. I was tired and I just wanted to relax.

I walked to the hotel room door, smiling as I opened the door, walking in. I closed the door behind me, leaning against the door for a second before I heard something move in the room. My head snapped up, only to see Selena sitting on the floor, something on the ground next to her as I raised my eyebrow.

“What happened here?” I asked, walking over to help her up as she shrugged.

“Well, I just kind of fell off the bed..” She said, shaking her head as she brought her hand to her head.

“Oh, I'm sorry, Lena..” I mumbled, pulling her up on her feet as she stood there for a second, trying to steady herself as I nodded. “You okay?” I asked, looking at her as she nodded.

“Yeah... I'm okay... I think I'm just tired.. it's been a long day.. Plus I think I'm jetlagged...” she said, shaking her head.

“Okay.. I think I'm just going to change and then get into bed.. I'm tired too..” I said, yawning as she nodded.

“Okay...” She said, walking over to her bag to get something to change into. I walked over to my bag, picking out an outfit to wear as my phone went off in my hand.

‘Because I'm majestic. ;D’

I shook my head, replying something just as stupid back as I picked out something simple. I picked out a pair of shorts and a tank top, crawling into bed. I pulled the blanket up to my chin. I yawned just as my phone went off again.

‘Goodnight, Demi..’

‘Goodnight, Joe.’

I smiled, shaking my head, setting my phone on the bedside table, not bothering to plug it in as I let my head rest on my pillow. I heard Selena crawl into the other bed as I reached over, turning off the lamp on the bedside table. I shut my eyes, allowing sleep to pull me under and enjoy the dreamless sleep that I have expected to have.

I laid in bed, my phone in my hand as I waited for him to respond. I just knew that this conversation was going to get interesting. I felt it vibrate in my hand as I sighed at the message.

‘Im sorry, Lena.. I have to get to bed though. I will text you in the morning, Goodnight’

I sighed, nodding as I typed a quick response before setting my phone down.

‘Night Justin.’

I set my phone on the bedside table, reaching for my phone charger to plug my phone in. I may be a little more out-there than Demi, but I want my phone charged. I curled into my usual ball as I felt myself fall asleep.

Todays been a long day.
